摘要： The defect marking method comprises the steps of: installing a surface defect tester to detect surface flaw and a marker device to apply marking at defect position, in a continuous processing line of steel sheet; detecting the surface flaw on the steel sheet using the surface defect tester; determining defect name, defect grade, defect length, and defect position in the width direction of the steel sheet, on the basis of thus detected flaw information, further identifying the defect in terms of harmful defect, undeterminable defect, and harmless defect; applying tracking of the defect position for each of the harmful defect and the undeterminable defect; and applying marking to the defect position. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate the molten zinc in top dross generated on a galvanizing bath at the time of galvanizing and to recover the molten zinc into a plating bath. SOLUTION: A plating vessel is provided with a box body 11 having an aperture 13 communicating with the plating bath 5 on its bottom. The top dross suspended on the plating bath is fed into the box body and aluminum is added thereto in such a manner that the aluminum concn. attains 0.5 to 10 wt.%. The molten zinc in the box body is then stirred and rested still and thereafter the top dross suspended in the upper part is ladled up. The flow property of the top dross increases considerably and the top dross contg. the zinc oxide of a small sp. gr. floats and the molten zinc having a large sp. gr. is efficiently settled and separated. A better result is obtd. if the aperture is made freely openable and closable.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the quality defect occurring in ash formed from 4 metal fumes evaporated in a snout and to recover the metal fumes discharged outside the equipment as the ash. SOLUTION: At the time of subjecting a steel strip S to zinc based hot dip coating by continuously passing the steel strip S in a zinc based hot tip metal coating tank 4 in which zinc or aluminum zinc alloy is melted, the snout 3 is provided with discharge ports 19, 20 for discharging in-furnace gases including the metal fumes to the outside of the furnace in order to prevent the advance of the metal fumes generated from the molten metal bath surface in the snout 3 into a pre-stage. While the in-furnace gases are regulated to the temp. above the m.p. of the zinc, the in-furnace gases are introduced from the discharge ports into ash recovering sections 51, 52. The temp. of the in-furnace gases introduced into the ash recovering sections 51, 52 is regulated to the m.p. of the zinc or below and the metal fumes included in the in-furnace gases are recovered and removed as the ash. The in-furnace gases from which the metal fumes are removed are then diffused into the outdoor air via a diffusion pipe 8 from the tank.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a defect-marked coil in which a hamrful defect can be discriminated surely and easily. SOLUTION: In a continuous treatment line for a steel sheet, a surface defect meter which detects a surface flaw is installed, and an ink marker apparatus by which a marking operation is performed to the position of a defect by using an ink is installed, or an internal defect meter which detects a defect at the inside of the steel sheet is installed. The treatment line is provided with a process in which the steel sheet is treated continuously. The treatment line is provided with a process in which the surface flaw of the steel sheet is detected by the surface defect meter, which computes the name of the defect, the grade of the defect, the length of the defect and the position of the defect in the width direction on the basis of information on the defeated flaw and which discriminates a harmful defect, a hard-to- discriminate defect and a harmless defect. The treatment line is provided with a process in which the internal flaw of the steel sheet is detected by the internal defect meter, which computes the length of the defect and the position of the defect in the width direction on the basis of the information on the detected flaw and which discriminates the harmful defect and the harmless defect. The treatment line is provided with a process in which the position of every flaw is tracked about the harmful defect and the hard-to-discriminate defect and in which the marking operation is performed to the position of the defect by using the ink at a point of time when the part of the defect reaches the ink marker apparatus.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify a quality management and to reduce a quality dispersion between respective steps and a work load for an inspection by editing a surface defect image and a defect information in the respective steps and simultaneously indicating it in the respective steps. SOLUTION: In a front surface detector 12 and a back surface detector 13, the defect of front and back surfaces of a cold drawing steel plate is detected by a CCD camera. A detection signal is corrected by a shelling correcting device 31 and is binarized by a binary device 32. The value is compared and decided with a threshold by a defect candidate detector 14, and a defect candidate point is detected. Then, a defect image is stored in a defect image primary memorizing device 15, and a defect name and a defect grade are separated by a defect separating device 16. After separation, only a defect image designated and separated is memorized in a secondary storage device 17. Then, information such as a defect name and a defect position are also given to the defect image secondary memorizing device 17 as an information and is fed to a detection control portion 18. The detection control portion 18 indicates the defect image and the defect information on a defect information correcting device 22 and CRT, 23, 24 for indicating a surface defect image and stores those information.
