    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-treatment method of a metal plate capable of preventing fluctuation in film quantity and degradation in productivity. SOLUTION: A metal plate is post-treated by adjusting the temperature of a treatment solution according to the line speed. The relationship between the treatment time (t), the treatment solution temperature T and the quantity of a film to be treated is obtained in advance. In changing the line speed, the treatment time t0 necessary for obtaining the reference quantity of the film at the reference treatment solution temperature T0 is compared with the maximum treatment time tm determined based on the line speed and the facility length of a post-treatment device. When the maximum treatment time tm is not less than the necessary treatment time t0 the treatment is achieved by adjusting the treatment time(t) so that the treatment time (t) becomes the necessary treatment time t0. When the maximum treatment time tm is smaller than the necessary treatment time t0, the treatment solution temperature Tm necessary for obtaining the reference film quantity at the maximum treatment time tm is obtained, and the treatment solution temperature T is adjusted so that the treatment solution temperature T becomes the treatment solution temperature Tm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for galvanizing which are suitable for manufacturing a galvanized steel sheet of high quality having no quality defect by quickly precipitating separating dross generated in molten zinc to a bottom part of a hot dip galvanizing bath to clean a plating bath and plating in the clean plating bath when a continuously traveling steel sheet is plated with metals consisting essentially of molten zinc. SOLUTION: A plating vessel 9 constituted so as to cover a front side, a rear side, a flank side and a lower side of a sink roll 4 for winding and guiding the steel sheet S in the plating bath 1, is disposed below a bath surface of the plating bath 1 to divide the plating bath 1 to a plating section 7 for plating the steel sheet S and a dross precipitating section 8 for precipitating the dross in the plating bath. A bottom part of the plating vessel 9 is made to be lowest at a part below the sink roll 4 and flow rate in the plating bath is made to be largest at the part below the sink roll 4 in a region held between the plating vessel 9 bottom part and the steel sheet S.
