摘要： A wheel cylinder and brake piston are formed in the brake caliper of each wheel of a vehicle. A piezoelectric device, which is formed of laminated piezoelectric elements, is formed in the brake caliper such that it is connected with the wheel cylinder. By applying a voltage to the piezoelectric elements the piston device is made to expand and contract to thereby vary the volume of the wheel cylinder. Brake fluid is supplied from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder via fluid passage formed in the brake caliper and a control valve for opening and closing this passage is formed in the passage. When there is a high pressure in the wheel cylinder, the piezoelectric device expands and the control valve closes. Then, by lowering the voltage the piezoelectric device contracts and the pressure in the wheel cylinder decreases.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make braking control performable so favorably, by installing a piezoelectric piston mechanis which variably controls hydraulic pressure inside a wheel cylinder in response to a voltage signal, while constituting it to layer plural piezoelectric elements where the said mechanism is divided into plural groups. CONSTITUTION:In a device which moves a brake piston 16 to the right by dint of braking hydraulic pressure passing through the selector control valve 19 installed interposingly in an oil passage 18 to be interconnected to a wheel cylinder 17 and makes braking force produce there in a way of pressing a brake disc 12 between an inner pad 13 and an outer pad 14, a piezoelectric piston mechanism 22 is installed inside the wheel cylinder 17 in addition. The said mechanism 22 is constituted of layering plural sheets of thine plate-like piezoelectric elements 221, 222 and so on between each piezoelectric element via electrode plates 281, 282 and so on. In addition, plural piezoelectric elements are divided into plural groups and connected in parallel with the electrode plate at each group unit, and a voltage signal is impressed at each group unit whereby a projecting quantity of a moving plate 23 is made so as to be controllable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To finely control the braking force and improve the reliability by providing a piezoelectric piston mechanism in a wheel cylinder, controlling oil pressure, and monitoring the electromotive force generated when the oil pressure is increased in the piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric piston mechanism 23 is installed at the inner part of a wheel cylinder 18 and this piezoelectric piston mechanism 23 is formed by stacking two or more thin plate type piezoelectric elements 231 and 232 and covering them with an expandable moving body 27. In addition, the wheel cylinder 18 and a master cylinder 12 are connected by an oil path 19 and a switching control valve 20 is interposed in this oil path 19. When wheels are locked, the switching control valve 20 is closed and the piezoelectric piston mechanism 23 is actuated, then the braking force is controlled. Besides, the normality and normality of the piezoelectric piston mechanism 23 are determined by comparing the electromotive force and preset value corresponding to the stepping-in of a brake pedal 11 generated in the piezoelectric piston mechanism 23. When the abnormality is assumed, the braking force control is released.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform decompression in time of locking in a speedy manner, by installing an accumulator chamber in space between a cut valve and a selector control valve, while closing both these valves at a time when a locking state is produced in wheels, and discharging a liquid inside a wheel cylinder to the accumulator chamber with a piezoelectric pump. CONSTITUTION:Each wheel cylinder 12 of braking mechanisms 11c and 11d for rear wheels at both sides and a master cylinder 13 are coupled with each other via a selector control valve 15 and a cut valve 20b. In addition, there is provided with a bypass passage 16 bypassing this selector control valve 15. In this passage 16, there are provided with two check valves 18b which allow only a flow from the wheel cylinder 12 to the master cylinder, while a piezoelec tric pump 17 is installed in space between both these check valves 18b. In addi tion, an accumulator chamber 23 is interposed between the selector valve 15 and the cut valve 20. In time of wheel locking, both these valves 15 and 20b are closed and simultaneously the piezoelectric pump 17 is driven whereby a fluid inside the wheel cylinder 12 is discharged to the accumulator chamber 23, thus decompression is speedily taken place.

In addition, a heating unit 25 is embedded in a brake caliper 15 in a state of approximating to the wheel cylinder 17 and the piezoelectric piston mechanism 22, heating and operating it in a state of being low in ambient temperature, and viscosity of oil is made so as to be raisable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness of a running control device for a car and simplify its structure by providing a piezoelectric piston in the pressure chamber of a wheel cylinder and also providing a moving wall that forms a chamber filled with the control oil with low viscosity even at low temperatures at the master cylinder side of a switching control valve. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric piston mechanism 26 is installed at the inner part of a wheel cylinder 17 and this piezoelectric piston mechanism 26 is formed by being covered with an expandable moving body 27 on which two or more thin plate type piezoelectric elements 261 and 262 are stacked. In addition, the wheel cylinder 17 is connected to a hydraulic control room 19 through an oil path 18 and a switching control valve 23 is interposed in the oil path 18. The hydraulic control room 19 is partitioned into first and second chambers 191 and 192 by a bellowsphragm 19. The first chamber 191 is connected to a master cylinder. The second chamber 192 is connected to the wheel cylinder. As a result, the chamber is filled with the control oil with low viscosity even at low temperatures and its response is improved even at low temperatures. In addition, the hydraulic pressure at the time when the wheels are locked is controlled by the piezoelectric piston mechanism 26 and the control valve 23.

摘要： Injection system with electronic control of the injected fuel amount and is designed to operate at relatively high pressure for injection of fuel by using a combined fuel-injection pump for compressing the fuel and to inject a predetermined amount of fuel. The combined injection-pump comprises a regulating unit (or positioning element) that responds to an applied voltage and a piston for drawing the fuel into a pump chamber and to compress the in-drawn fuel. An injection valve is provided to inject to compress fuel, and an electronic control unit is provided to control the count or number at which the control voltage is applied to the regulating unit and to control the injected quantity of fuel according to the number or count for the combined injection pump operating process, more specifically independently pf the engine revs.
