摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Nb3 Al compound superconducting conductor having an outer matrix satisfactorily joined to a stabilizing material without leaving any gaps on their interface, and a manufacturing method for the same. SOLUTION: A molded body with a hexagonal cross-section is made by forming an Nb coating 5 and a Cu coating 6 around a laminated body 1, thereafter the Cu coating is peeled off and removed to make a single wire 8. Next, a plurality of such single wires are packed into an Nb tube 9, a Cu-Ni alloy tube 10 is formed on the Nb tube 9, then it is area-reducingly worked, and the alloy tube 10 is peeled off to form a multi-wire 12 having an outer matrix 9', Then, an Nb-Al supersaturated solid solution is produced on a portion of the laminated body 1. In a cooling treatment at this time, Ga is used as a coolant. A stabilizing material 13 is formed on a surface of the outer matrix 9', then a re-heating treatment is performed for separating out an Nb3 Al phase from the Nb-Al supersaturated solid solution, or area-reducing work is performed prior to the re-heating treatment, whereby an Nb3 Al compound superconducting conductor is manufactured.

SOLUTION: A superconductive cable is manufactured in such a way that a plurality of single wire materials 6 obtained in a specified process are bundled, a Nb cover 16 forming an outside matrix and a Cu alloy cover 17 are extruded onto the wire bundle, wire drawing is conducted with a die to a specified size, the Cu alloy cover 16 is removed to obtain a multiple wire material 18 having many single wire materials 6. A stabilizing material 19 and a barrier material 20 are positioned in the specified arrangement inside the Nb cover 16 forming the outside matrix. The stabilizing material 19 and the barrier material 20 are previously combined with the single wire materials 6 before the Nb cover 16 is formed, and thereby the barrier material 20 separates the single wire materials 6 from the stabilizing material 19.

摘要： PURPOSE:To set and keep the pressure of liquid helium to a prescribed value equal to an atmospheric pressure or below and the liquid level of it to a prescribed value by a method wherein a control device which sets and keeps the pressure or the temperature of liquid helium in a first vessel which houses a cooled body to a prescribed value lower than that of liquid helium in a second vessel. CONSTITUTION:A first vessel 3 houses a cooled body, and liquid helium inside it is kept at a pressure equal to or lower than that of liquid helium inside a second vessel 8 through the ON-OFF valves of a depressurizing device 5 and a bypass piping 6. The second vessel 8 temporarily reserves liquid helium supplied from the outside and also performs the vapor-liquid separation of liquid helium supplied in two phases. Separated liquid helium is supplied to the first vessel 3 after it is adjusted in flow rate through an expansion valve 10a when the pressure of the first vessel is nearly equal to that of the second vessel, and when the pressure of the first vessel is lower than that of the second vessel, the separated liquid helium is supplied to the first vessel after it is adjusted in flow rate and is isoentropically expanded.

SOLUTION: A uniform magnetic force generation magnet is constituted of a single or a plurality of main magnets and a single or a plurality of correction magnets. Either a permanent magnet or an electromagnet can be used as the main magnet and the correction magnet. It is desirable to use an electromagnet for controlling the magnetic field strength, magnetic field gradient and magnetic force as (magnetic field strength)×(magnetic field gradient) and to make the position of a correction magnet to a main magnet variable. It is also desirable to use an air-core magnet for the main magnet, since a specified space of uniform magnetic force can be formed readily. Then, an air-core or divided air-core correction magnet is used.
