    • Disclosed are a water tank and a refrigerator having the same. The water tank includes a tank main body provided with a water storage space formed therein and a discharge hole; a tank cover connected to the tank main body for opening and closing the water storage space; a valve movably installed in the tank main body for opening and closing the discharge hole; and a valve driving unit moving the valve using magnetic force so as to cause the valve to open and close the discharge hole. The water tank is opened and closed by the magnetic force of magnets and the restoring force of elastic members, and thus it is possible to prevent water stored in the water tank from leaking out in a process of attaching or detaching the water tank to or from the rear surface of a door or a refrigerator.

    • The present invention relates to laundry machines, and more particularly, to a control unit assembly in a laundry machine which enables easy assembly and accurate alignment of an input device of a printed circuit board with a button portion of a control panel. The control unit assembly includes a control panel having various operation buttons and coupling portions, a plurality of coating guides coupled to a rear surface of the control panel having fastening portions corresponding to the coupling portions, a plurality of printed circuit boards respectively mounted on the coating guides, each having an electric circuit mounted thereon, joining portions for joining the coating guides together so as to place the coating guides closer to an inside of the control panel, and holders for preventing the coupling portions and fastening portions from moving with respect to each other when the fastening portions are aligned with the coupling portions, thereby improving assembly work, preventing malfunction of the laundry machine, and permitting easy detection of an operation progress.

    • Disclosed is a lithium secondary battery comprising a cathode (C), an anode (A), a separator and an electrolyte, wherein the battery has a weight ratio (A/C) of anode active material (A) to cathode active material (C) per unit area of each electrode of between 0.44 and 0.70, and shows a charge cut-off voltage of between 4.35V and 4.6V. The high-voltage lithium secondary battery satisfies capacity balance by controlling the weight ratio (A/C) of anode active material (A) to cathode active material (C) per unit area of each electrode. Therefore, it is possible to significantly increase the available capacity and average discharge voltage of a battery using a lithium/cobalt-based cathode active material, which shows an available capacity of about 50% in a conventional 4.2V-battery. Additionally, it is possible to significantly improve battery safety under overcharge conditions, and thus to provide a high-voltage and high-capacity lithium secondary battery having excellent safety and long service life.
