    • A focus condition detecting device of the type in which a pair of re-imaging lenses together with a condenser lens form a pair of re-images of an object image on a linesensor, such that the distance between the corresponding points of the re-images on the linesensor varies with the focus condition of a camera objective lens has an improved construction for positioning the linesensor with respect to the device with high accuracy. A field aperture mask having a field aperture is arranged optically behind a plane conjugate with the linesensor with respect to the re-imaging lenses and the condenser lens such that a pair of defocused images of the field aperture are formed on the linesensor by the re-imaging lenses and the condenser lens with respective one side blurred borders of the defocused images overlapping one another to make a V-shaped peak or dip of illuminance on a photocell of the linesensor located on the optical axis of the device, when the field aperture mask is uniformly illuminated. The device is formed into a module attachable on a camera.

    • An electrical drive which includes a motor for actuation of a film wind-up and shutter mechanism subsequent to exposure of a film frame and a mechanism for decoupling drive from the motor at the end of each wind-up and shutter charge action and also during this action if something occurs a fault preventing correct action of the film wind-up and shutter charge mechanism, whereby damage to the mechanism, the motor and film is prevented.     • A shutter release mechanism is provided in a camera, which includes an electromagnetic circuit, in which an electric power source, an electromagnet for operating a shutter, and an actuating switch are operatively interconnected. Provided in the camera shutter release button is a coupling section, to which are selectively attachable the tip portion of a mechanical cable release and the tip portion of an electric remote control release having therein a manual operating switch. When the shutter release button is operated, or when the tip portion of the cable release is attached thereto and depressed, then a movable member provided internally of the camera is advanced so as to close the switch provided in the body of the camera, thereby mechanically operating the electro-magnetic release means. On the other hand, when the tip portion of the remote control release is attached and operated, then the electromagnetic release circuit is electrically operated by means of the manual switch provided internally of the remote control release, without mechanically operating the switch in the camera body.

    • An exposure indicating device for single lens reflex cameras which are selectively settable to automatic aperture control or automatic shutter speed control modes includes an exchangeable lens which has first and second information transmitting members, and a diaphragm setting member settable to one of a number of manually set aperture positions. The first transmitting member transmits to a first information receiving member, first information of the step-difference from a minimum to a preset f-number of the lens independently of the set position of the diaphragm setting member. The second transmitting member transmits to a second information receiving member, second information of a maximum f-number only when the diaphragm setting member is set to select a maximum f-number. A camera body is provided with a modes selecting member which switches the camera either into the automatic aperture control mode or into the automatic shutter speed control mode and enables observation of either an aperture scale or a shutter speed scale within a finder view field. The first information thus received enables automatic shutter speed control, and indication of an automatically controlled shutter speed prior to a stopping-down operation. The first and second information thus received are composed with each other, only in the automatic aperture control mode, to generate information of the minimum f-number of the lens, which enables indication of an f-number corresponding to an automatically controlled aperture prior to the stopping-down operation.
