摘要： A camera which includes a film cartridge whose spool is adapted to be set in different rotational positions with respect to a film cartridge main body between unused state and used state of the film cartridge, and a camera body having a film cartridge accommodating portion, and is arranged to show that the film cartridge is in the used state when the used film cartridge is inserted in the accommodating portion of the camera body.The film cartridge is provided with shaped portions having different shapes from each other corresponding to the two rotational positions, while the film cartridge accommodating portion of the camera body is provided with an ejecting member, a detecting member for detecting the state of use of the film cartridge through its movement controlled by the differently shaped portions of the film cartridge upon insertion of the film cartridge into the film cartridge accommodating portion, and a display member for detection to be shown at a predetermined position in responsive movement to the detecting member, upon detection that the film cartridge is in the used state by the detecting member.

摘要： A camera comprises a main switch, a battery, a battery checking circuit, a display device, a timer and a controller. The camera can be operative by the turn ON of the main switch and can not be operative by the turn OFF of the main switch. The battery supplies an electrical power to circuits in the camera. The battery checking circuit checks a state of the battery. The timer counts a predetermined period of time in response to the turn ON of the main switch. The controller controls the display device based on a result of the battery checking circuit to display the state of the battery during the predetermined period of time and turning off a display of the display device if the state of the battery is better for the camera than a predetermined state after a lapse of the predetermined period of time. Thereby, it is easy to see the other display of the camera in the display device.

摘要： This invention is directed to a camera provided with an automatic focus adjusting apparatus in which, in addition to the function of carrying out an AE lock based on an in-focus detection, an AE lock can be carried out either before or after an AF operation is completed or when an AF operation is impossible. In other words, irrespective of the condition of an automatic focus adjusting means, an AE lock can be accomplished at any desired moment. 摘要： A film feeding apparatus of a camera using a film having two perforations in each frame. A perforation detecting lever has claws spaced at a predetermined distance apart from each other so that the distance therebetween is equal to the distance between the two perforations which are adjacent to each other across the boundary between frames. The perforation detecting lever engages the perforations and disengages therefrom in unison with an operation for feeding one frame to be performed after the proceeding frame is exposed to light. As a result, film feeding is allowed to proceed until both claws simultaneously engage two respective perforations in the film which occurs after the film has advanced one frame.

Signals of the switch terminals which are operated at a last stage eby the IC card are applied to cause activation of the electronic appliance and initialization of the IC card.
