摘要： In order to make a displacement type compressor be able to reliably start without increasing an outside diameter dimension of the compressor while using a self-start synchronous motor having high energy efficiency, the displacement type compressor according to the invention includes the self-start synchronous motor which starts as an induction-motor and performs synchronous operation by performing synchronization pull-in almost at a synchronous rotational frequency, a compression part having a compression chamber which compresses a working fluid, and a hermetic container which houses the self-start synchronous motor and the compression part. The displacement type compressor is provided with a start load reducing means which reduces a load of the compression part at startup and is-placed at the compression part in the hermetic container.

The slide valve is formed therein with at least one gas flow passageway for communicating the working chamber with the discharge port only when the compressor operates in a controlled capacity mode.

The rotation shaft 300 integrally comprises a main shaft portion 302, a crank pin 301 eccentrically provided to the main shaft portion 302, and a sub-bearing supported portion 303 having a smaller diameter than the main shaft portion 302. The oil passage 311 has a first oil passage 311a extending from a lower end of the sub-bearing supported portion 303 to a lower portion of the main shaft portion 302, and a second oil passage 311b that is communicated with the first oil passage 311a and extends to an upper end of the crank pin 301. The second oil passage 311b comprises a passage portion that has a smaller diameter than and is placed at an outer of the first oil passage 311a, a plurality of the second oil passages 311b are provided within a plain of said crank pin 311.
