摘要： An apparatus for continuously plating interior surfaces of loose piece electrical terminals is characterized in that loose piece terminals are continuously fed to a continuously rotating mandrel, are held against the mandrel during the plating process by retaining means and are released from the mandrel, the mandrel having a plurality of anode containing nozzles therein, the anodes being mounted for reciprocation into and out of the interior of the terminals that are against the mandrel. A conduit supplies plating solution under pressure through the nozzles and upon the anodes and into the interiors of the terminals in which the anodes are received. The retaining means is an elongated resiliently mounted member which surrounds a portion of a rotating mandrel whereby the loose pieces are held against the mandrel during the plating process wherein the anodes move into the interiors of the terminals, plating solution is injected over the anodes and the anodes are retracted from the terminals, the terminals being released from the mandrel after the anodes have been retracted and the terminals have passed the end of the retaining means.

摘要： An apparatus for plating interior surfaces of electrical terminals that are attached to a carrier strip comprises a mandrel having first and second portions, the first portion being comprised of dielectric members which are mounted for rotation on a shaft as strip fed terminals are continuously fed to the first portion; wrapped against it and exited therefrom; and a second conductive portion mounted in a stationary portion on the same shaft. First dielectric portion includes a plurality of nozzles distributed about its axis of rotation. A plurality of anode members are mounted within the nozzles, the anode members being movable into and out of interiors of terminals that are wrapped against the dielectric portion. A conduit supplies plating solution under pressure through the nozzles and upon anode members. A source of electrical potential supplies electrical current flow from anode members through plating solution and into interiors of terminals thus forming a plurality of plating cells about the dielectric portion. The apparatus includes means for assuring electrical engagement between the anode assemblies and the conductive portion so that an essentially uniform current is suppled to each plating cell. The apparatus further includes camming means which cooperates with a camming engagement member on each anode assembly to ensure retraction of each assembly from its corresponding terminal.

The profiled passageway of the shroud includes a terminal receiving section which is disposed around the anode means, extends forwardly thereof, and has an inner diameter selected to be just greater than the outside diameter of a terminal to be plated. The terminal receiving section further includes lead-in means whereby a terminal members is relatively received into the terminal receiving section and locatable concentrically about the anode member.

摘要： A clamp frame is disclosed for securing a window frame in a building structure opening by hand without using fasteners. The clamp frame comprises a unitary extruded plastic member that defines a cross section having an integrally formed connection element that mates with a complementarily shaped portion of a window frame to connect the clamp frame and the window frame without fasteners along the length of the clamp frame. The cross section includes a clamp element having at least a leg and a lever. The leg and lever are each connected to the connection element by a living hinge and are movable relative to the connection element between an open position and an overlapping locked position, which results in a clamp load holding together the clamp frame and window frame without the use of fasteners. One end of the leg of the clamp element is constantly urged against the building structure by the lever when the clamp element is in the locked position. The clamp frame may be preassembled by hand onto the window frame before shipping to customers.

The main link may have an irregular surface so that a large force may be required to move the door back from the open position to a closed position.

The improved window assembly includes at least one fixed sub-assembly and at least one sliding sub-assembly supported by a frame. The fixed sub-assembly has a sash, and removable fasteners extend through the peripheral edge of the sash into the interior side of the frame so that the fixed sub-assembly can be independently disassembled from the interior of the vehicle without removing the frame or the clamp ring. The sliding sub-assembly is removably secured to the frame by an improved multi-piece guide track and slide pin assembly that allows removal of the sliding sub-assembly without removing the frame. The slide pins are removably secured to opposite sides of the sliding sub-assembly.
