摘要： The present invention is concerned with a process for producing biuret polyisocyanates and the polyisocyanates so produced. These isocyanates are produced by the reaction of at least about a four fold molar excess of a diisocyanate having aliphatically bound isocyanate groups with amino alcohols having a particular structure at a temperature between about 90 and 200.degree. C. The amino alcohols contain at least three carbon atoms, have their hydroxyl and amino groups separated by at least two carbon atoms, and may contain urea, urethane, ether or amino bonds. The present invention is also concerned with a process for producing two component and one component moisture curing lacquers using the biuret polyisocyanates of the present invention and the lacquers so produced.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for the production of coatings by coating substrates of any type with a coating composition of which the binder consists essentially of a mixture of:(a) a polyisocyanate component and(b) at least one organic polyhydroxyl compound, distinguished by the fact that the polyisocyanate component(a) is a reaction product obtained from:(i) a polyisocyanate mixture which, in addition to from about 20 to 80%, by weight, of 2,4'-diisocyanato diphenyl methane, contains a total of from about 80 to 20%, by weight, of 2,2'-diisocyanato diphenyl methane, 4,4'-diisocyanato diphenyl methane and, optionally, higher nuclear polyisocyanates of the diphenyl methane series and(ii) a polyhydroxy polyether containing at least one tertiary amine nitrogen atom and having an average molecular weight of from about 500 to 10,000 or a polyhydroxy polyether mixture containing at least one such polyhydroxy polyether and having an average molecular weight of from about 500 to 10,000.components (i) and (ii) having been reacted in an NCO:OH equivalent ratio of from about 300:1 to 10:1 to form a reaction product containing free isocyanate groups and urethane groups.

摘要： A process for the production of a crosslinkable low-molecular weight acrylic resin containing hydroxyl-groups and having a low-molecular consistency factor by the radical bulk copolymerization of(A) 0 to 30 parts by weight of a hydroxyalkyl ester of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid or mixtures thereof;(B) 0 to 60 parts by wt. of styrene or a substituted styrene or methyl methacrylate or mixtures thereof;(C) 10 to 90 parts by weight of an acrylic acid ester or of a methacrylic acid ester with 2 to 12 carbon atoms in the alcohol radical or mixtures thereof;(D) 0 to 30 parts by weight of an .alpha.,.beta.-monoolefinically saturated mono- or di-carboxylic acid with 3 to 5 carbon atoms or of a maleic acid semiester or mixtures thereof or reaction products thereof with a monoglycidyl compound, in the presence of 10 to 70 parts by weight of a monoallyl ether of an at least trihydric alcohol,The sum of the parts by weight of all the monomers A - E amounting to 100,Wherein the indicated quantity of monomer E is initially introduced and, at temperatures above 100.degree. C, monomers A to D together with 0.5 to 6% by weight, based on A to D, of an initiator with a half-life period at 100 to 160.degree. C of 0.01 to 100 minutes, are introduced over a period of 1 to 6 hours and polymerized, at least 98% by weight of the monomers A to D and from 36 to 95% by weight of monomer E being converted. Acrylate resins of this type are eminently suitable for the production of readily processible binder mixtures which although low in viscosity, have a very high solids content.

摘要： Process for the production of water-hardenable compositions of organic polyisocyanates and polyamines containing at least partly blocked amino groups present as ketimines, the combinations essentially representing mixtures and optionally reaction products containing urea groups by mixing the organic polyisocyanates with the polyamines in such quantities that the equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to blocked and free amino groups is between about 0.9:1 and 4:1 and reacting any free amino groups present with some of the isocyanate groups in the polyisocyanate to form ureas, characterized in that the polyamines containing at least partly blocked amino groups used are mixtures comprising(a) from about 50 to 95 amine equivalent percent of organic compounds which are free from primary and secondary amino groups and which contain at least two ketimine groups corresponding to the following formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents an alkyl or cycloalkyl radical and R.sup.2 represents hydrogen or an alkyl or cycloalkyl radical or in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 form a cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon radical together with the two carbon atoms of the ketimine group and(b) from about 5 to 40 amine equivalent percent of organic compounds which are free from primary and secondary amino groups and which contain at least two ketimine groups of which one corresponds to the formula ##STR2## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are as defined above, the other ketimine group(s) present correspond(s) to the formula shown in (a).

摘要： Binders which are hardenable by radiation or peroxides and are useful in coating compositions are compounds containing isocyanurate groups and olefinic double bonds produced by the reaction of components (a), (b) and (c) wherein(a) is a polyisocyanate component containing isocyanurate polyisocyanates which is(i) N,N',N"-tris-(isocyanatohexyl)-isocyanurate alone or in admixture with its higher homologs containing more than one isocyanurate ring or(ii) mixtures of the polyisocyanates (i) with up to 40 NCO-equivalent-%, based on the total component (a), of other polyisocyanates containing aliphatically or cycloaliphatically bound isocyanate groups;(b) is an olefinically unsaturated alcohol component comprising at least one hydroxyalkyl ester of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid; and(c) is a polyol component consisting essentially of a polyester polyol having an OH value of 80 to 350 based on (i) an acid component, of which at least 80 carboxyl equivalent-% is adipic acid, isophthalic acid or a mixture of both and (ii) a polyhydroxy component of which at least 70 hydroxyl equivalent-% is hexane-1, 6-diol;wherein component (c) amounts to 20 to 150% by weight, based on the weight of component (b), and the reaction is carried out at with an NCO:OH equivalent ratio maintained at 0.9:1 to 1.1:1, and wherein components (b) and (c) are reacted with the polyisocyanate component in any order or in admixture.
