摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously excavate a buried object such as a soft layer, a hard layer and a steel material by implanting hard tips in a bit main body tip part on the tip of a rotary cutter ring by inclining the tip by a specific angle in the rotational direction. SOLUTION: A plan view rectangular blade part 3 is arranged on an excavating bit 1, and the excavating bit 1 is installed in a tip part of a cutter ring via a holder 5. Plural tips 9 forming a columnar shaft shape and being composed of a hard material are implanted in the blade part 3 by projecting from a tip part 3a of the blade part 3. The tips 9 are slantingly implanted so as to turn in the rotational direction T of the cutter ring as these proceed to the tip side of the blade part 3. The respective tips 9 are mutually inclined in parallel to each other, and an inclination θ formed in the direction vertical to a bottom surface 6b of an installing part 6 of a bit main body 2 is set to 3 deg. to 12 deg.. Since the tips are slantingly implanted, even if the tips 9 are abraded, a sharp shape is maintained on the rotational direction side, so that excavation of a semi-hard rock layer from a soft layer and excavation of a buried object such as concrete and a steel material can be reliably continuously performed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine for existing tunnel connecting work execution allowing the continuous advance/retreat of a cutter ring in a wide range and simplifying a cutter head driving part. SOLUTION: An annular space chamber 5 is formed along the peripheral edge part of a front part of a shield body 1. A holding member 33 connected to the rotatable cutter head 2 side, and a cutter ring 31 protrusively provided with a plurality of cutting bits 32 at the front edge part, are provided in the annular space chamber 5. The cutter ring 31 is supported in a longitudinally slidable manner by the holding member 33, and working devices 41 for longitudinally sliding the cutter ring 31 are arranged in the annular space chamber 5. With the cutter ring 31 initially installed at the cutter head 2, the cutter ring 31 can be continuously advanced/retreated in a wide range by the actuation of the working devices 41. Connecting construction can thereby be efficiently performed, and the structure of a cutter head driving part can be simplified.

The retreat reaction of the cutter ring 31 that is about to retreat in cutting can be stopped by using a group of engaging parts 42 engaged with the cutter ring 31 and constituted to project the cutter ring 31 forward.
