    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of cutting efficiency by burying a large number of cemented carbide made rod type tips harder than a parent material in the orthogonal direction against a cutting surface in the inside of the metallic parent material and forming a plural number of broken grooves along the overall circumference in the longitudinal direction with constant intervals respectively on the rod type tips. SOLUTION: A large number of cemented carbide made rod type tips 11 harder than a parent material 1 are cast in the orthogonal direction against a cutting surface in the inside of the metallic parent material 1. Thereafter, a plural number of broken grooves 12 along the overall circumference are formed with constant pitches in the shaft center direction within a surface orthogonal with their shaft centers on outer peripheral surfaces of the rod type tips 11. Consequently, edges on head end parts of the rod type tips 11 are rounded while cutting, before cutting efficiency drops, the rod type tips 11 are broken on the broken grooves 12 on the extreme head end sides by an autogenous blade function and new knife edges appear, and the cutting efficiency never drops. Additionally, even in the case when a more than specified load is applied on a cutting bit, the rod type tip 11 is broken on the broken groove 12 on the extreme head end side and impact can be absorbed, and it is possible to prevent breakage of the cutting bit itself.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for finding the location of a buried magnetic object, which is capable of magnetic exploration in a location closer to a target and capable of, even when a building is on the ground, finding the exact location of a magnetic object buried under the building, through operation from the surface of a different location.
      SOLUTION: The method includes: forming an exploration hole 25 near an target of exploration made of a magnetic material such as a tie rod 21 buried in the earth, by using a curved drilling machine for drilling while grasping the shape of a hole three-dimensionally; inserting, into the exploration hole 25, a magnetic sensor guide tube 24 constituted by a flexible tube made of a nonmagnetic material; then inserting a magnetic sensor 22 into the guide tube; measuring the intensity of magnetism by the magnetic sensor while measuring the insertion length of the magnetic sensor and measuring the location of the magnetic sensor in the exploration hole while moving the magnetic sensor; and thereby measuring the location of the target of exploration buried.

    • PURPOSE:To measure the interval with high precision by embedding an interval measuring mechanism in which a strain gauge is attached on an arm-shaped contactor in contact with the outer periphery of a segment, on the inner peripheral surface of a the skin plate of a shield excavating machine and calculation- processing the interval between both. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of recessed parts 7 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of a skin plate 1 in the tail part of a shield excavating machine, and an interval measuring mechanism 8 is embedded into the recessed part 7. Then, the interval measuring mechanism 8 is constituted of a fixed body 9, arm shaped contactor 10, roller 11, and a strain gauge 12. Then, the electric signal obtained by the strain gauge 12 is converted to the distance signal by the conversion part 14 of a calculation mechanism 13 and displayed on a display part 15, and inputted into a computer 16. The arm-shaped contactor 10 of each interval measuring mechanism 8 is engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the corresponding segment 2 through the roller 11, and deflects, and the interval between both is calculated by the calculating mechanism 13, and displayed on a display part 15.
