    • PURPOSE:To enhance durability by defining the material of a cemented carbide tip for both ends of cutter bits as low hardness and high toughness out of cemented carbide tips installed in parallel to cutter bits and the material of a cemented carbide tip in the central part as high hardness and high toughness. CONSTITUTION:A tip mounting recessed part 14 is formed on the tip of a sheet- like base metal 13 which constitutes a mounting part of the base end. A plurality of cemented carbide tips 15, 16, 17 and 18 are fixed with the tip mounting recessed part 14 by brazing 16 in such a state that they may line up breadthwise. To braze with the tips 15 ad 18 on both ends, there is adopted a material having a low hardness and high toughness out of the cemented carbide tips 15, 16, 17 and 18. Then, when excavating a hard ground or the like by mounting a cutter bit 11 to a cutter head of a shield driving machine, a face pressure exerting on the chips 15 and 18 on both ends is reduced, thereby protecting the chips 15 and 18 from being damaged. Although the tips 15 and 18 are subjected to wear out during excavation work, the properties of the hardness and high toughness tips 16 and 17 prevents a drop in their wearing properties.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently catch deteriorated ballast by providing a cylindrical cover around a pipe rotatable and capable of jetting air jet from a nozzle part at the tip, and providing eccentric mass at the upper part of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is led into vibrating rods 6 through compressed air hoses 8, and air jet is jetted from nozzles 9. When a driving motor 17 is driven, the vibrating rods 6 are rotated through gear mechanism, and eccentric mass is also rotated, so that the vibrating rods 6 are deformed in the direction of centrifugal force and put in precession motion. When the vibrating rods 6 penetrates into ballast 59 from the upper part of a railroad track bed 62, the ballast is vibrated to release engagement, and penetration resistance is reduced. The deteriorated ballast is pulverized by the air jet from the nozzles 9 and blown off. The blown-off fine grain ballast is caught into dust covers 12 and suction-conveyed by suction hoses 13.

    • PURPOSE:To perform smooth output of bulky excavated muck, to eliminate a need for a power source for crushing bulky excavated muck, and to prevent impedance of a rudder and a bucket wheel. CONSTITUTION:A bucket wheel rotary shaft 2 is rotated, a rudder 1 is laterally revolved and moved as a bucket wheel cylinder part 3 and a bucket 4 for excavating a soft rock are rotated, and the soft rock is excavated by means of the cutting edge of each bucket 4. A soft rock after excavation is placed as excavation muck into the bucket 4 and inputted in a suction mouth 7 under gravity of the excavated muck and through the suction force of the suction mouth 7. Small muck of the excavation muck is outputted through a slit 14 of a screen 13 and a piping 8. In this case, rotation of a large spur gear 6 is transmitted to a crusher rotary shaft 10 through a small spur gear 12. The bulky excavation muck is scraped in the direction of the screen 13 by means of a crushing rod 11 and captured by the screen 13. The muck is nipped between the screen 13 and the crushing rod 11 for crushing and grain refining and outputted.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a bank body having a large frictional resistance against the outer force by a method wherein the concrete is cast in the upper part of the hull, the hull is turned round by injecting the water in the divisions of the hull, and it is landed on the rubble mound with the surface wherein the concrete is cast touching the mound. CONSTITUTION:The frictional-surface concrete 10 is cast in the upper part of the deck of a hull caisson formed by using the used hull. Next, the water being injected in the divisions 8 of the hull, the hull is turned round so that the frictional-surface concrete 10 is positioned on the lower surface. After that, the sand 4 is thrown in the divisions 8 and thus the hull is sunk so that the frictional concrete surface 10 of the hull caission is landed on the rubble mound 1. The contact of the rubble mound 1 with the concrete surface 10 makes the frictional resistance larger and thus a bank body having large stability against the outer force can be obtained.
