摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the subsidence of the ground surface and prevent the increase of the weight and size of a boring machine main body. CONSTITUTION:The glove 8 of a glove bucket 6 is opened, a heavy bob 17 is lowered along a piston 19, and the glove bucket 6 is freely dropped in a casing tube 9 while the upper section of the heavy bob 17 is kept in contact with the piston 19. The lower section of the heavy bob 17 collides with the projection 16 of a casing tube 9, and the casing tube 9 is inserted into the ground by the dropping energy of the heavy bob 17. The piston 19 is freely dropped along the cavity 18 of the heavy bob 17 after the heavy bob 17 collides with the projection 16 of the casing tube 9. The glove 8 of the glove bucket 6 is inserted into sediment 12, when the tip of the glove 8 reaches the vicinity of the tip 11 of the casing tube 9 and the piston 19 collides with the lower section of the cavity 18 of the heavy bob 17, the dropping of the piston 19 and the glove bucket 6 is stopped to complete the excavation. The glove 8 is closed, and the soil discharging process is started.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a rock stratum to be cut out in a block form without any need of a cutter bit, and large torque and thrust, while causing no crack in a rock stratum around a drilling area. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 1, a laser transmission tube 2 and an external slit drilling laser nozzle 5 are caused to rotate as a whole around the shaft 1. On the other hand, a laser beam 7 is condensed with a condenser 6 via reflectors 3a and 3b. The laser beam 7 after the condenser 6 irradiates around a rock stratum block 11, and the rock stratum thereof is caused to melt, thereby forming an annular external slit 8 around the block 11. After forming the slit 8, the nozzle 5 is elongated and the end thereof is inserted in the slit 8. Furthermore, a movable reflector 4 is shifted to a projection position and, then, the laser beam 7 condensed with the condenser 6 is introduced inward radially from the reflector 4. A bottom slit 9 is thereby formed and the bottom of the rock stratum block 11 is cut out.

Cold air taken out of the vortex tube 11 through an orifice 13 is supplied to a cold air chamber 9 through the cold air flow passages 7. With such an arrangement, the water droplets 6 floating within the cold air chamber 9 are iced and then artificial snow is generated.
