    • PURPOSE:To prevent the stripping and cracking of a cladding member by forming a ferrite decarburized layer at a required depth on the surface of a steel base material and cladding by welding an austenitic stainless steel on said surface. CONSTITUTION:There are various methods to be adopted for decarburizing the surface of the steel base material in addition to a method using CO2. If the depth of the ferrite decarburized layer is =1.5mm.. The austenitic stainless steel welding material is not particularly limited. The operation is more convenient if the welding material consisting essentially of 19-26W% Cr, 9-23W% Ni and the balance Fe and added with Si, Mn and Nb for the purpose of improving weldability is used.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the durability of the air nozzle by a method wherein the main body of the over-fire air nozzle is subjected to a diffusion-penetration treatment with Al or the like and then flame-sprayed with Ni-Cr alloy and finally flame-sprayed with ceramic material thereon.
      CONSTITUTION: The desired part in a metallic material 3 is permeated by diffusion with metal such as Cr, Al, Al-Cr alloy, Si, B or the like by means of diffusing permeation treatment method in order to form diffusing permeation treated layers 4. At this time, only the diffused layers are left behind by removing pure metallic layers at the outmost surface by means of blasting. In succession, Ni-Cr alloy layers 5 are formed on said diffused layers by means of plasma spraying method. The sprayed layers 5 serve for the improvement of the adhesiveness of ceramic material in the next process and for obtaining better adhesiveness by promoting the alloying with substrate diffusing permeation treated layers 4. Furthermore, the sprayed layers 5 are coated with ceramics 6 such as zirconia, which has excellent oxidizing resistance, thermal resistance and the like, or the like in order to give the layers 5 oxidizing resistance, thermal resistance and corrosion resistance. And, the air nozzle is divided into two pieces or into a main body side nozzle 7 and a tip side nozzle 8, both of which are fitted with each other by bolts 9, resulting in enabling to change the burnt-out piece.
