    • PURPOSE:To provide a viscous soil classification device capable of sorting and removing large stones or foreign matters easily from viscous soil and a sludge producing device capable of producing liquid mud continuously and efficiently from the viscous soil. CONSTITUTION:A viscous soil classification device 2 is provided with a viscous soil supply hopper 4, a fixed screen 5 having a round rod material 9 juxtaposed laterally therefrom, a viscous soil transfer device 6 having transfer plates 11 mounted on the fixed screen between endless chains 10 at both the sides thereof, a measured pressure water jet device 7 and a liquid mud discharge hopper 8. A liquid mud producing device is made up of the combination of a fixed net-like screen 1, the viscous soil classification device 2 and a multishaft mixer 3. Through the aforesaid arrangements, the object of the viscous soil classification device is achieved making possible a continuous sorting operation of a large amount of the viscous soil and the object of the sludge producing device is achieved preventing the trouble of the multishaft mixer caused by the inclusion of large stones or foreign matters and making the reduction of the physical labor possible.

    • PURPOSE:To instantaneously and positively measure the weight per unit volume of a fluid flowing within a pipe by obtaining the weight per unit volume of the fluid from the relationship between the changing values of the weight of a measuring member and the internal cubic volume thereof. CONSTITUTION:A measuring member 4 is a cylinder of a predetermined length, having one end of a flexible coupling member 3 fixed at either end thereof in the water-tight state. Each member 3 made of rubber or the like is freely shrinkable, with the other end connected in the water-tight state to a corresponding end part 2a of a cut pipe 2 via a fixed joint 8. The members 4 and 3 are suspended via a holding member 5 from two load cells 6 fixed to the upper wall of a housing 1. The changing value of the weight applied to the members is measured by the load cells 6. At the same time, the measured value is displayed directly as the weight per unit volume of the fluid running here, or operated by a processing part 7 and displayed as the weight per unit volume.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent pollution to water and to enhance the manipulatability by discharging and underwater placing soil from a placing unit while restraining the lightweight soil from being materially segregated and dispersed with the use of a hose and a link type expander, and by discharging air from the soil above the water surface. CONSTITUTION:A hose 1 is paid out from a drum 2 on a working ship, and is connected to a lightweight soil plant 5 and is attached at its lower end with a placing unit 6, and accordingly, the soil is discharged underwater from the plant through the placing unit 6. During this period, the lower end part of the hose 1 suspending underwater is supported by a pair of link type expanders 7, 7 which are expanded and contracted in association with the operation of a cylinder device 8. Then, the hose 1 is fed at a relatively high speed, taking care of material segregation during the movement thereof. The discharge speed of the lightweight soil is gradually decreases while the soil is placed. Extra air which has been mingled into the soil during production thereof is separated from the soil at a soil discharge port, and is then discharged through an air vent port and an air blow-off port are discharged above the water surface. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the lightweight soil from being dispersed, and to facilitate the discharge and the storage of air and the movement of the hose 1 and the placing unit 6, thereby it is possible to enhance the manipulatability.
