摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas interrupter convenient for a gas user by preventing erroneous interruption due to temporary pressure variation of gas during use. SOLUTION: The gas interrupter comprises a pressure sensor 3 for detecting the pressure in a gas passage, a section 11 for making a decision whether the condition of pressure is normal or abnormal by acquiring input signals from the pressure sensor 3 periodically as pressure values, a section 12 for storing the pressure values, and a flow rate deciding section 13 for comparing the flow rate signal from a flow rate sensor 4 with an internal decision value and outputting an over flow rate signal. Only when an abnormal pressure flow rate monitoring section 14 makes a decision that a previous pressure value at the pressure value storing section 12 and a current pressure value detected at the pressure detecting section 11 are abnormal and the flow rate deciding section 13 outputs an over flow rate signal, an interruption request signal is delivered and an interruption valve driving section 15 closes a gas interruption valve 5.

SOLUTION: This gas passage cutoff device 100 includes a cutoff valve confirming means 101 disposed in a control means 150, a cutoff valve driving means 901 and a cutoff valve 854 disposed in a gas introduction path in a gas meter. First, when one of a flow sensor 851, a pressure sensor 852 or an earthquake sensor 853 detects an abnormal value, a safety deciding means 900 gives a cutoff instruction for closing the cutoff valve 854 to the cutoff valve driving means 901, and the cutoff valve driving means 901 outputs a driving signal, thereby causing the cutoff valve 854 to conduct the cutoff operation. The cutoff valve confirming means 101 confirms the operating condition of the cutoff valve 854 in the lapse of designated time since the safety deciding means 900 gives a cutoff instruction to the cutoff valve driving means 901 to be transferred as cutoff valve condition information to the safety deciding means 900.

SOLUTION: Certain number of times of instantaneous flow rate are measured with a first measuring period, Then, certain number of times of instantaneous flow rate are measured with a second measuring period. Thus, the measurements each of certain number of times of the instantaneous flow with a plurality of different measuring periods in series are continued. The synchronization with the fluid pulsation is determined from the variation of a certain number of times of measurement values at each measuring period. Those measurement values at the measuring periods which are determined not synchronized are adopted and an integrated flow rate is obtained from the measurement values.
