First, when one of a flow sensor 851, a pressure sensor 852 or an earthquake sensor 853 detects an abnormal value, a safety deciding means 900 gives a cutoff instruction for closing the cutoff valve 854 to the cutoff valve driving means 901, and the cutoff valve driving means 901 outputs a driving signal, thereby causing the cutoff valve 854 to conduct the cutoff operation. The cutoff valve confirming means 101 confirms the operating condition of the cutoff valve 854 in the lapse of designated time since the safety deciding means 900 gives a cutoff instruction to the cutoff valve driving means 901 to be transferred as cutoff valve condition information to the safety deciding means 900.

摘要： PURPOSE:To measure the flow rate of a fluid with a single sensor without being influenced by the temperature of the fluid, by automatically adjusting the width of a jetting nozzle of a fluidic oscillator element to be an optimum value in accordance with the oscillating frequency. CONSTITUTION:The width of a jet flow of a fluidic oscillator element 2 is set at a default value beforehand. When a gas is started to be used, the element 25 oscillates the fluid by the Coanda effect. The oscillating frequency of the fluid is detected at 26. A width controlling means 27 detects whether the oscillating frequency is not smaller than a predetermined value. If the frequency is not smaller than a predetermined value, a width variable means 28 is urged, so that the width of a jetting nozzle of the element 25 is automatically varied. At the same time, the position of the variable means 28 is detected at 27b. When the position becomes a set value, the variable means 28 is stopped to be moved and held at the position. The flow rate is obtained at 29 from the detected oscillating frequency at 26, and an integrated value of the flow rate of the used gas is obtained by an integrated flow rate operating means 30. A judging means 31 judges the using state of the gas from the flow rate and the integrated flow rate. If the using state is abnormal, the judging means 31 activates a shutting means 33, thereby, to stop the supply of gas.

When the variable means 11 reaches a set value of the size number, it is stopped to be driven. In the case where the variable driving means is constituted of a piezoelectric driving element, a driving voltage is added by the controlling means 12, thereby a variable nozzle means is moved to the left or right through the mechanical shift (in a direction to narrow the width of the jetting nozzle if the size number is small). If the variable nozzle means is formed with a shape memory alloy, the variable driving means becomes a heating means and changes the heating amount corresponding to the set value of the size number. Accordingly, since the variable nozzle means is expanded or contracted, the width of the jetting nozzle is adjusted to be optimum corresponding to the size number.

SOLUTION: The gas meter is provided with a main flow channel in which the adjusting means used to adjust the opening amount of a flow channel and a first flow-rate detection means are installed, a subflow channel which bypasses the adjusting means in the main flow channel and in which a second flow-rate detection means is installed, a control means which controls the adjusting means, and an abnormality detection means which detects the abnormality of the adjusting means. The abnormality detection means monitors a pressure difference before and after the adjusting means, or the ratio of the detected flow-rate values detected by the first and second flow-rate detection means when the adjusting means is open-controlled, it detects the open-side abnormality of the adjusting means, it monitors the ratio or the difference of the detected flow-rate values detected by the first and second flow-rate detection means, and it detects the close-side abnormality of the adjusting means. When the abnormality is detected, the adjusting means is redriven. When the abnormality is detected in the prescribed number of times, a gas is cut off, or the abnormality is displayed, or a warning is issued.
