    • The invention concerns a method for preparing a bitumen base, including the following essential steps: a) introducing a bitumen in a container equipped with mixing means, and bringing the bitumen to a temperature of 120° C. to 300° C.; b) introducing at least one chemical blowing additive into the container, and mixing, said chemical blowing additive being of general formula Ar1-R—Ar2 (I) wherein Ar1 and Ar2 independently of each other represent a benzene ring or a system of condensed aromatic rings of 6 to 20 carbon atoms, substituted by at least one hydroxyl group, and R represents an optionally substituted divalent radical, whereof the main chain comprises 6 to 20 carbon atoms and at least one amide and/or ester group. The invention also concerns a bitumen base obtained by implementing said method, as well as the use of such bitumen bases in road surfacing and industrial applications.

    • The invention relates to charged bituminous mastics that are used in industrial applications, particularly in the manufacture of indoor or outdoor coatings used for sealing and/or damping vibrations and/or thermal insulation and/or soundproofing and/or fire protection (fire-proofing). The aim of the invention is to provide a mastic which is deformation-resistant when thermally charged and which is also static in ambient temperature conditions prevailing during laying and when ambient temperature is 40° C., which also holds well when cold, offering good dimensional stability. In order to achieve said aim, styrene-indene copolymer resin having a Tg of 40-150° C. and a penetrability at 50° C. of ≦10 is used as a structuring agent A of a bituminous mastic comprising bitumen B, a charge C and a polymer D.

    • The present invention relates to an integral component based modular tank system comprising multiple H-supports configured for connecting two end-caps, multiple lateral bars, liners and specifically designed linear seal for forming a modular tank of a desired length, with no limitation of length. The system is configured to connect consecutive single modular tanks to two end-caps configured to terminate the modular tank system at respective ends; multiple lateral bars configured to transmit horizontal mechanical force between the two end-caps through the H-supports, multiple liners configured to hold the intended content of the tank; and multiple linear seals consisting of an outer seal and an inner seal configured to hydraulically seal the liners and the end-caps to each other. The modular tank system further comprising optional provision of installing a 3-part interlocking bar system, horizontal supporting bars and sprinkler system for utilizing the tank as integrated green house system. The modular tank system is also utilized as aquaponics system by further incorporating floating or non-floating trays, piping assembly, pump and specifically designed reliable automatic siphon. Thermal insulation panels may also be fitted between the lateral bars of the modular tank system for minimizing heat exchange between the content of the modular tank system and the outside environment.
