    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a solar cell is provided to simplify a manufacturing method and reduce manufacturing costs and manufacturing times by forming the first impurity part and the second impurity part by using an etching paste. CONSTITUTION: A first impurity part(121) of a first conductive type is formed on an upper part of a substrate(110). A back protection part(192) is formed on an upper part of a back side which is opposite to an incident side of the substrate. A masking layer(300) is formed on the upper part of the first impurity part. An etching paste is formed on the upper part of the masking layer. The etching paste is heated and the masking layer and the first impurity part are simultaneously etched.

    • PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to multiply amount of light which is entered in a substrate by reducing the amount of the light absorbed in a front side protection unit.
