    • PURPOSE: A hollow fiber membrane module is provided to improve the life expectancy of the module and to save costs required for maintenance by expanding the back washing operation cycle of the module. CONSTITUTION: A hollow fiber membrane module includes a hollow fiber membrane, a housing(110), a supplying pipe(130), and a discharging pipe(140). A hollow fiber membrane is arranged in the housing. Three or more angular shapes are asymmetrically arranged to form the housing. The angles of the angular shapes are different. Twisted sides are formed in the housing by twistedly connecting one side and another side of the housing. A supplying pipe is in connection with the housing and supplies polluted water to be filtered. The discharging pipe is in connection with another side of the housing and discharges filtered water. The polluted water filters through the hollow fiber membrane by generating vortex along the twisted side of the housing.
