摘要： The present invention is directed to provide a driving circuit and driving method for a LCD having high performance of moving image displaying within few amount of memory and downscaled circuit. In the present invention, a voltage applied to a pixel to drive liquid crystal material in the pixel is determined as a voltage with which the transparency of the pixel at the end of the current field becomes the designated transparency. To determine the voltage, a data table for quick response in which output data is stored in correspondence with some of the possible value of a preceding field image data and some of the possible value of the current field image data is employed, and the output data corresponding to the preceding field image data and the current field image data is determined by the data table through linear interpolation. The voltage corresponding to the output data is applied to the pixel.

The structure includes a light-guiding plate for receiving, from a light-incident surface, light coming from a light source, and for allowing the light to exit from a bottom surface; a reflective liquid crystal display panel opposed to the bottom surface of the light-guiding plate; and a prism disposed on the side of a top surface of an upper substrate of the liquid crystal display panel. The prism has a surface that is substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the upper substrate, and a tilted surface which is tilted towards a side opposite to the light source from a crest line of the substantially perpendicular surface at a tilt angle with respect to an imaginary surface which passes through the crest line and which is parallel to the top surface of the upper substrate.

摘要： A serial sampling video signal driving apparatus receives a plurality of color video signals. A serial sampling video driver samples the color video signals one after the other in cyclic fashion, and provides the sampled values to drive a matrix-type color display. A delay circuit delays one or more of the color video signals at different phases before input to the serial sampling video driver, thereby compensating for differences in sampling times.

摘要： An organic coating with slits or holes in a predetermined pattern is disposed on the surface of an electrically insulating substrate on which electrode leads have been formed. A paste of an electrically resistive material fills the slits or holes and is dried at 120.degree. to 140.degree. C. The surface of the paste is flush with that of the coating after which the paste preliminarily baked in a stream of oxygen at 500.degree. to 600.degree. C. while the coating is burnt off.
