摘要： A control method for arc welding wherein position control of an electrode or a torch is performed while adjusting welding conditions on the basis of optical information obtained from arc light generated during an arc welding process. Illuminance, which forms the optical information obtained from the arc light, has a certain mutual relationship with the arc length or the torch height, so that the weld control is accomplished based on the illuminance. The control method includes a step of comparing illuminance with reference information based on the mutual relationship, and a step of adjusting the welding conditions on the basis of a result of comparison.

摘要： In a continuously variable transmission metal belt, a lateral-most projecting portion of a side edge of a metal ring assembly wherein each metal ring is located between a radially central plane and a radially inner peripheral surface of the metal ring. A contact point in which the projecting portion abuts against a V-face of a pulley is closer to the radially central plane than to the radially inner peripheral surface. Moreover, as the metal rings are laminated on one another, recesses are formed between the side edges of the adjacent metal rings to retain oil therein, which lubricates the sliding faces of adjacent metal rings and enhances durability of the assembly.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a unit includes battery modules each including an assembled battery including battery cells and a monitoring device, a BMU to communicate with the battery modules, a first drawer holding the battery module, a second drawer holding the BMU, and a housing containing the first drawer and the second drawer. The first and second drawers include first composite connectors secured to a side of the housing, which is almost orthogonal to a direction in which to insert the drawers into the housing. The housing has second composite connectors which mate with the first composite connectors, thereby to connect communication lines between the monitoring device and the BMU and the main-circuit lines between the assembled batteries of the battery modules.
