    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and easily drill a spectacle lens.
      SOLUTION: A drill stock slidable along a horizontal slideway on the top step of a frame consisting of stepped bars has a drill that can move vertically. A machining stock floor is formed on the middle step of the frame positioned under the drill stock. A standard lens stock and a lens machining stock in the same structure are fixed at some interval on the machining stock floor. A standard lens is fixed on the lens fixture of the standard lens stock and a machined lens is fixed on the lens fixture of the lens machining stock so that the drilling position and angle of the standard lens can be easily and correctly copied on the machined lens.

    • A laser beam L1 emitted from a laser source 10 is projected onto a target 30 set in a vacuum chamber 60 while being focused by a focusing optical system 20. This realizes a light track observation apparatus capable of directly observing the light track of an excitation pulse.
