    • It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for efficiently producing a polylactate via microbial fermentation with the use of a sugar as a starting material.The method is a method for producing a polylactate, which comprises the steps of: (1) culturing a recombinant microorganism having a protein capable of catalyzing a reaction of transferring CoA to propionic acid and/or lactate and a protein capable of catalyzing a reaction of polyhydroxyalkanoate synthesis consisting of the following amino acid sequence (a) or (b) in a medium containing a carbon source: (a) an amino acid sequence derived from the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 2 by substitution of at least one of the amino acids at positions 130, 325, 477, and 481 with different amino acid(s); or (b) an amino acid sequence derived from the protein specified in (a) by additional deletion or substitution of one or several amino acid(s) other than the amino acids at positions 130, 325, 477, and 481 or by insertion of one or several amino acid residue(s); and (2) collecting the polylactate from the culture product obtained in step (1).

    • In the improved method for projection a stereoscopic image, an additional lenticular sheet that has an appropriate level difference and a different pitch of lenticular lenses than a lenticular recording material such as a lenticular light-sensitive material is either placed directly on top of said lenticular recording material or inserted above and in the vicinity of said lenticular recording material, with said additional lenticular sheet being preferably moved either in one direction or reciprocally in a direction generally perpendicular to its own generatrix. This method can be implemented with the improved apparatus for printing a stereoscopic photograph. Using the improved method and apparatus, the development of moire can be suppressed and, at the same time, the line width of linear image elements to be recorded can be easily expanded.

    • A process for preparing a lithographic printing plate from an electrophotographic photosensitive material comprising a photoconductive insulating layer containing photoconductive zinc oxide and a thermoplastic insulating resin disposed on a waterproof support, said method comprising the steps of electrical charging, imagewise exposure, and development of the material in a wet developer having toner particles containing an oleophilic component dispersed in an insulating liquid carrier, thereby providing an oleophilic toner image, and heating the developed photosensitive material under such conditions that when an adhesive tape having a tackiness of 280 to 350 g/10 mm wide portion as measured by the 180.degree. peeling method of JIS C2107 (passed once between pressure rollers at 50 mm/sec) and which has been contact-bonded to the surface of said toner image-bearing photosensitive material by passage between a metal roll and a rubber roll pressed against said roll at a pressure of 6000 g/cm.sup.2, is peeled off said photosensitive material one minute after the contact-bonding at a peeling rate of 500 mm/min and an angle of 180 degrees, the toner image carried away by adhering to the tape is not more than 30 wt. % of the toner in the solid image area on which at least 0.03 mg/cm.sup.2 of the toner is deposited, and the cohesion of toner particles inside the toner layer against the peeling force is at least about 350 g/10 mm wide portion.
