    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top board for an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of securing a sufficient joining strength at a joining part between a cylindrical member and a reinforcing member, even if a large load is applied thereto and retaining a superior strength reliability for a long period of time in the top board for the X-ray diagnostic apparatus consisting of the cylindrical member molded from fiber reinforced resin and a metal or fiber-reinforced resin reinforcing member fitted to one end opening part of the cylindrical member; and its manufacturing method.
      SOLUTION: This top board for the X-ray diagnostic apparatus is formed by fitting the reinforcing member having a similar cross section to that of the cylindrical member, in one end opening part in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical member, which is formed from the fiber-reinforced resin and its opposed faces have different curvatures in the width direction, and by sticking and joining them together. The reinforcing member is fitted in and stuck to the opening part of the cylindrical member with its surface coated with adhesive, wherein the opening part of the cylindrical member is deformed so as to enlarge the thickness-directional interval between the opposed faces in the opening part of the cylindrical member. Its manufacturing method is also provided.

When the strands 3 are bent in a direction denoted by an arrow A, the strands 3 rotate to change a cross angle between the strands 3 and the hoop reinforcements 5, which brings the strands 3 into spiral shape while gradually reducing the arrangement intervals between the hoop reinforcements 5, thus reduces the length of the basket 1. The shortened basket 1 allows construction of reinforcing bars even in a narrow space, and facilitates transportation and storage of the reinforcing bars.
