SOLUTION: A crossed axes angle θ1 between the second axis 20 of a first receiving port 16 formed in a socket 12 and the first axis 22 of a second receiving port 18 is 10 deg., and a crossed axes angle θ2 between the second axis 20 of an insertion port 34 formed in an insertion port short pipe 14 and the third axis 38 of a second short pipe part 36 is 10 deg.. By rotating the insertion port 34 connected to the first receiving port 16 about the first receiving port 16, a crossed axes angle α between the first axis 22 and the third axis 38 can be changed within the range of 0 to 20 deg.. With each of the first axis 22 and the third axis 38 set at a desired crossed axes angle α, the insertion port 34 is fused to the first receiving port 16 to complete a bent joint. To increase bonding strength between the first receiving port 16 and the insert port 34, a length in the direction parallel with the first receiving port 16 and the second axis 20 of the insertion port 34 is lengthened, and the first receiving port 16 and the insertion port 34 are not necessary to be expanded in the diameter direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary rotation of a snap tap to improve workability and to reduce cost by embedding a metal adaptor with an internal thread in the end connection of a metal snap tap, and thread-fastening an external thread formed at a resin snap tap, to the internal thread to integrate a saddle and the snap tap. SOLUTION: A saddle 16 has a metal adaptor 32 embedded in the upper part of a snap tap end connection 30, and an external thread 42a of a fitting opening 42 and an internal thread 38 of the metal adaptor 32 are thread-fastened to integrate the saddle 16 and a snap tap 18. In the case of branching a water supply pipe 14 from a pipe 12 using the snap tap 10 with the fused saddle, the saddle 16 is first positioned to the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 12 and fixed by a fixing member 24. A current is then applied to a heating body 22 of the saddle 16, and resin around the heating body 22 is heated and fused to fuse the saddle 16 and the pipe 12. A boring jig is inserted through the inside of the snap tap 18 to form a hole 12a in the pipe 12. The water supply pipe 14 is then connected to another fitting opening 44 of the snap tap 18 through joints 50, 52.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint easy to manufacture and having high disengagement preventing and rotation preventing properties. SOLUTION: A raised part 28 increases the diameter of the other end part of a resin pipe 20. A slope part 50 is formed on a transition part form a non- expanded diameter part 46 to an expanded diameter part 48. When a ring 22 having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the expanded diameter part 48 is engaged on the outer peripheral surface of the resin pipe 20 (expanded diameter part 48), the ring 22 can be forced to be inserted toward the expanded diameter part 48 side along the outer surface of the slope part 50. The ring 22 engaged with the resin pipe 20 (expanded diameter part 48) clamps and compresses the expanded diameter part 48 to press-contact an inner peripheral surface of the expanded diameter part 48 against an outer surface of the raised part 28, thereby fixing the resin pipe 20 to the raised part 28 firmly. This provides a high disengagement preventing and rotation preventing properties. This also facilitates the manufacturing, and reduces the cost.
