    • PURPOSE:To efficiently melt a metal rod, to shorten hole opening time, to eliminate the need for a worker for centering, to reduce the man-hour and to realize a low cost by providing a mechanism for finely adjusting the deviation of the centering between an oxygen blowing pipe and an iron tapping hole which is different at each time and correcting this adjustment with a remote operation at every time of opening the iron tapping hole. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic cylinder 26 served also as the change of inclination is interposed between an oxygen blowing pipe supplying device 7 for freely drawing out and taking up an oxygen blowing pipe 1 by using a winding drum 3, pinch roll device 4 and a corrective device 5 as a vertical fine adjusting device 10 and a hang-holding device 8. A hydraulic cylinder 33 for being changable length of a link arm as the horizontal fine adjusting device 11 is interposed in the link arm 17 disposed for the link constitution to a swing arm 16 for which a horizontal holding girder 9 for horizontally travelling the hang-holding device 8 is held and horizontally swung. Respective controllers 12, 13 are operated by the remote operating transmitters-receipressers 15, 14.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the adhesion of a transport matter within a shoot by supporting a pair of impact rolls arranged substantially horizontally on the lower end of a pair of rocking arms rockably suspended in the middle of the falling course of the transport matter, and rotating at least one of the impact rolls. SOLUTION: A transport matter 3 carried out from an upstream belt conveyor 1 and falling is once collided to a pair of impact rolls 7 and stayed there, and then falls down through the clearance between the impact rolls 7 onto a downstream belt conveyor 2. Each impact roll 7 is rotatably supported at the free end of a rocking arm 6 rockably suspended, and at least one of the impact rolls 7 is rotated toward the opposite side of the opposed roll by a driving unit 8. According to a shoot having such a structure, the adhesion of the falling transport matter within the shoot can be surely prevented, and the scattering of particle masses of the transport matter can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain variation of pressure in a furnace and to enable stable operation by inserting a refractory-made rod provided with a protecting pipe at outer periphery thereof into an iron tapping hole during iron tapping, changing inserting depth of the rod and controlling iron tapping speed. CONSTITUTION:The rod 5 being reinforced the refractory 15 with the protecting pipe 16 is shifted to front and rear parts with plural pieces of rollers 8a driven with a driving motor 9 and rotated with a rod rotating device 10, and by changing the angle with a rod tilting device 14, the rod is inserted into the iron tapping hole 12 during iron tapping. Then, insertion and pulling-out of the rod 5 are executed with the driving motor 9 to control the inserted depth of rod 5. By this method, uneven wear of the rod 5 is prevented to control the iron tapping speed and the variation of pressure in the furnace is restrained to stabilize the operation, and hard labor under high temp. is reduced.
