Since the layer which exhibits a greater thermal contraction is forcibly cooled before or during a hot levelling adequately and by a required amount, the clad metal sheet does not exhibit any substantial camber after cooled down to the room temperature.

摘要： A spray lance for repairing refractory linings of refining vessels such as steel making converters comprises multiple concentric tubes to form a passage for repairing material such as powder refractory and carbon powder, a passage for a combustible gas such as oxygen and passages for feeding and returning a cooling fluid. A plurality of nozzles are provided on a cylindrical surface and a front end, each consisting of two concentric pipes communicating with the passages for the repairing material and the combustible gas, respectively, thereby enabling the lance to repair wider areas of inner walls of furnaces. In addition, without providing a nozzle at the front end of the lance, the passage for the repairing material is closed at its front end to form a cleaning opening communicating the passage for the combustible gas, through which the combustible gas is jetted against the bottom of the furnace to clean accumulated adhesives on the bottom.

Consequently, even when the steel sheet 1 is caught from the upper surface of the take-up reel 3 so that it crosses the upper part of the take-up reel 3, no non-conformity is generated, the applicability of the automatically inserting device for guard sheet can be magnified and the cost of the device can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION:A metal plate 11a coated with a mixture of a filler composed of a conductive metal powder and a liquid resin is superposed on the other strip like metal plate 11 and both metal plates are bonded between press rolls 21, 22 under pressure and passed therebetween while the press bonding forces toward the centers of both rolls are held to be taken up by a taking-up apparatus through a tension apparatus 30. In this case, the holding of the press bonding forces toward the centers of both rolls 22, 23 is realized by controlling the tension apparatus 30 and/or press belt, 25, 26 for pressing two metal plates from the outsides of the rolls 22, 23. By this method, a laminated metal plate excellent in weldability and adhesiveness is easily obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To maintain high differential pressure by a simplified structure by enclosing the outside periphery of a guide roll with a sealing attachment practically over a semicircle and forming the barrel of the roll in a foil-laying region into small diameter. CONSTITUTION:In a differential pressure sealing device, a guide roll 2 is formed so that a roll barrel in a region where a long-size foil 1 is laid has a diameter d2 smaller than a diameter (d) in the regions in the vicinities of both ends. The outside periphery of the guide roll 2 is enclosed by a sealing attachment 3 practically over a semicircle. This attachment 3 is provided with a sealing surface S forming a minute clearance (delta) in close vicinity to the roll surface between both ends of the guide roll 2 and the outside surface of the long-size foil 1 in the foil-laying region and an opening (h) communicating with a differential pressure chamber and forming the path of the foil. By this method, the amount of leakage from the minute clearance formed by the guide roll 2 and the sealing attachment 3 is reduced, and high differential pressure sealing can be attained.

By this method, the above clearance (delta) can be regulated rapidly and precisely, and further, a high differential pressure can be maintained.
