摘要： A method of repairing a refractory lining of a vessel lined with refractory by flame gunning process, in which a patching material consisting of refractory particle and carbonaceous fuel powder is flame-gunned together with an oxygen containing gas to fuse or semi-fuse the refractory particles in a region surrounded by hightemperature flame and struck against the surface of the refractory lining to produce a deposit layer of the refractory particles, is disclosed. In this method, a patching material having a higher mixing ratio of the fuel powder or only the fuel powder is flame-gunned at an initial stage of the repairing and subsequently patching materials, in which the mixing ratio of the fuel powder is lowered stepwise, are flame-gunned in order with the progress of the repairing, during which a blow rate of the oxygen containing gas is controlled in accordance with the change of the mixing ratio of the fuel powder in the patching material.

摘要： A spray lance for repairing refractory linings of refining vessels such as steel making converters comprises multiple concentric tubes to form a passage for repairing material such as powder refractory and carbon powder, a passage for a combustible gas such as oxygen and passages for feeding and returning a cooling fluid. A plurality of nozzles are provided on a cylindrical surface and a front end, each consisting of two concentric pipes communicating with the passages for the repairing material and the combustible gas, respectively, thereby enabling the lance to repair wider areas of inner walls of furnaces. In addition, without providing a nozzle at the front end of the lance, the passage for the repairing material is closed at its front end to form a cleaning opening communicating the passage for the combustible gas, through which the combustible gas is jetted against the bottom of the furnace to clean accumulated adhesives on the bottom.

摘要： PURPOSE:To set the inclination angle of a lance at a required value, by fixing the lance to a lance-supporting base with a turnnion provided at the main body of a cylinder through an opened part provided at a position apart from the axis of the lance and a bracket for pivoting the trunnion. CONSTITUTION:When the damaged part of the refractory lining of a converter or the like is to be repaired, a truck horizontally holding a lance 1 is let run by driving its wheels 15, so that the lance 1 is inserted into the furnace and set at a predetermined position. The lance is then inclined by the operation of a cylinder 7 for inclining the lance. Thereafter, a turn table 11 is revolved and set at the objective position of the lance 1, the direction of a nozzle attached to the top end of the lance is corrected by the operation of a motor 5 for rotating the lance to direct the nozzle to the damaged part of the lining, and a refractory material is sprayed to perform repairing. Accodingly, the entire body of the flame gun lining apparatus can be lowered in height and stabilized.
