    • PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble of cracking or leakage of molten steel of an anchor tile due to thermal stress and facilitate the application of a lining by a method wherein an anchor brick is divided into a plurality of anchor tiles and holes are bored on each neighboring anchor tiles to connect the holes mutually through U-shape fittings while abutting sections of the holes and the anchor tiles between each other are connected with normal temperature adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:An anchor metal 5 and an anchor tile connecting metal 6 are formed of a steel bar, for example, and a lining is constituted of a permanent lining layer 2 of 100 mm thick and an inner lining layer 3 of 130 mm thick. The outside anchor tile 7 and the inside anchor tile 8 are bonded mutually at the bonding end surfaces 9 thereof through two- part epoxy resin adhesive agent of normal temperature setting type mutually while the metal 5 and the connecting metals 6 are bonded to the metal inserting holes 10 of respective anchor tiles 7, 8 through the same adhesive agent. The outside anchor tile 7 is bonded to the inside anchor tile 8 strongly through the anchor tile connecting metal 6 and the bonding surfaces 9 of the anchor tiles whereby the anchor tiles 7, 8 can be fixed to a steel skin 1 by only inserting the anchor metal 5 into the anchor metal receiver 4 of the steel skin 1 and the application of lining castable can be effected very easily.

    • PURPOSE:To heat the nozzle properly to prevent the molten metal from being solidified in the nozzle and being blocked in, by forming the tundish nozzle for molten steel injection by inside and outside layers different in electric resistance value and by supplying electricity to the nozzle to generate heat. CONSTITUTION:Molten steel 1 in tundish 2 is injected into mold 5 for continuous casting by nozzle 4. In this case, nozzle 4 is constituted with high-conductivity outside layer part 7 and low-conductivity inside layer part 8, and the part, which is soaked in the molten steel, at the nozzle tip is formed with the inside layer material. Alumina graphite refractories are used for inside and outside layers of nozzle 4, and the compound ratio of graphite in outside layer part 7 is layer than that in inside layer part 8. A voltage is applied to copper electrode 9a for nozzle and graphite electrode 9b for molten metal by power source 10 to supply electricity to them, and electricity is flowed from inside layer part 7 to outside layer part 8, and heat is generated by the high electric resistance of outside layer part 8 to heat nozzle 4 at a high temperature, thereby preventing molten metal 1 flowing downward through nozzle 4 from being solidified in the nozzle.
