摘要： A nonconductor product is soaked in a solution suspending semiconducting powder and is subjected to light irradiation in the solution so that the polar group is formed on the surface of the nonconductor product, and then electroless plating is performed on the surface on which the polar group is formed. A resin product is subjected to electroless plating after ultraviolet treatment in which ultraviolet rays are irradiated through water or a solution is performed. Further, electroless plating or electroplating with a different or the same kind of metal is performed on the electroless-plated layer formed by electroless plating. With the method like this, the plated nonconductor product which does not cause the problems such as environmental pollution and waste liquid treatment, and whose surface and the plated coating is firmly adhered to each other, and, when a resin product is used as a subject to be plated, deformation by heat of the resin product can be prevented, and moreover, adherent strength of the plated coating can be improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a plated member which is electroless-plated through a pretreatment process such as an etching step with the use of chromic acid has a plated layer having a strong adhesion to a resin member, but is difficult to completely separate the plated layer from the resin member.
SOLUTION: The plated member with a plated surface on the resin member is provided with the plated layer which has an adhesion to the resin member so that the plated layer does not peel off from the interface between itself and the resin member at ordinary temperature, and easily peels off from the interface at a low temperature. Specifically, the adhesion strength of the plated layer to the resin member is 800 g/cm or higher at 25°C and 200 g/cm or lower at -30°C.

The deterioration of the diene rubber component by the ozone and the degradation in the strength of adhesion of the plating film are prevented.

SOLUTION: The plating article having a surface layer containing more active unsaturated groups than in an article body is used and at least its surface layer is subjected to UV treatment and ozone solution treatment then to elecctroless plating. The active unsaturated groups included in the surface layer are activated by the UV treatment etc., by which polar groups, such as COO- groups, are generated and a catalyst is adsorbed to the polar groups. The elecctroless plating film having excellent adhesiveness is thus deposited.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently stick catalyst metal to a resin material by using an inexpensive chemical containing the catalyst metal at a low concentration, and to form a uniform plating film thereon in a short period of time. SOLUTION: A resin stock is subjected to chemical etching treatment, and is thereafter subjected to adhesion improvement treatment so as to be treated with the hydroxide of alkali metal and a surfactant. Since the hydroxide of alkali metal removes brittle layers on the surface of the resin stock to more largely allow active groups to appear, and catalyst metal is adsorbed on the surfactant adsorbed on the active groups, so that the catalyst metal can sufficiently be stuck thereto even if an inexpensive chemical containing the catalyst metal at a low concentration is used. Since plating metal is precipitated with the catalyst metal as nuclei, a plating film having excellent adhesion can uniformly be formed thereon by electroless plating treatment in a short period of time. 摘要： PURPOSE:To produce decorative Cr plating excellent in corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:Plating is carried out with an Ni-P alloy contg. 8-15wt.% P to form a substrate in 5-20mum thickness and then Cr plating is formed. Even when the Ni-P alloy plating is exposed through a flaw or crack in the Cr plating, a condensed layer of P is formed simultaneously with the beginning of dissolution of the Ni-P alloy plating due to the formation of a local cell and passivation is caused. Since the electromotive force of the local cell is vanished by the passivation and corrosion is stopped, the corrosion resistance of the Cr plating is remakably improved.
