    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an overload on a designer by avoiding a failure to examine a caisson structure when the caisson structure as a foundation is designed in addition to enabling the design having true economic efficiency and safety.
      SOLUTION: The design value of an automatically designed caisson structure is compared with a pre-set set range. When the structure has a design value within the set range, a first evaluation reference value in which economic efficiency is used as an index is calculated. When the design is determined to be completed for all design ranges, the minimum value of all the first evaluation reference values. The first evaluation reference value within a specified range is selected from the minimum value obtained. The designed caisson structure having the minimum value of the first evaluation reference values and the selected first evaluation reference value is classified into an optimum design condition group. A second evaluation reference value in which safety is used as an index is calculated for each caisson structure classified into the optimum design condition group is calculated according to load conditions, ground conditions, and their respective design values. The design value of the caisson structure at which the calculated second evaluation reference value is maximum is output.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck the slime deposited at the bottom of a drilled hole for a cast-in-place concrete pile without almost leaving when the slime is removed.
      SOLUTION: This slime removal device includes a bucket 11 suspended inside the drilled hole 4, a pump 12 installed on the outer peripheral surface of the bucket 11, a suction tube 13 which extends from the suction port of the pump 12 downward and at least the lower section of which is tilted in one horizontal direction, a delivery tube 14 for delivering the slime 3 sucked through the suction tube 13 by the power of the pump 12 from the delivery port of the pump 12 into the bucket 11, and a water-permeable filter 16 which covers the upper opening of the bucket 11. The bucket 11 is rotatable in one horizontal direction by sucking the slime 3 through the suction tube 13.
