摘要： In the radiation detector of this invention, the second common electrode is formed on the incidence surface of the seat so as to cover at least a portion of the seat and the second common electrode is connected to the first common electrode. Thus, the second common electrode is bent at the periphery of the semiconductor and the seat, and a bent portion thereof is formed sharp. The first common electrode formed along the incidence surface of the semiconductor is disposed under the sharp portion of the second electrode (i.e., opposite to the incidence surface). Consequently, the common electrode seen from a bottom (opposite to the incidence surface) has a uniform shape, which avoids occurrence of irregular concentration of the electric fields. As a result, dark current due to concentration of the electric fields may be suppressed.

摘要： A two-dimensional array type detecting device of the invention is formed of a detecting side substrate, and a readout side substrate laminated together. In the detecting side substrate, a high resistivity responsive semiconductor film is laminated on a substrate through a common electrode therebetween, and semiconductor films for connection are formed for the respective sections corresponding to a two-dimensional array arrangement. Therefore, leak and expansion of carriers produced in the high resistivity responsive semiconductor are prevented in a direct conversion system, wherein light or radiation enters from a side of the glass substrate, in which the common electrode is not formed. Thus, a detecting sensitivity and space resolution can be improved. Namely, a dynamic range is large, and a crosstalk is small.

摘要： In a radiation detector according to this invention, a portion of a semiconductor, located in a connection of a common electrode to a lead wire, is dented in a recess form from other portions of a semiconductor, in a range short of a radiation detection effective area. An insulating seat is disposed to fill the portion located in the connection. The common electrode is formed to cover at least part of the seat. The lead wire is connected to a portion of the incidence surface of the common electrode located on the seat. Thus, the detector can avoid performance degradation resulting from connection of the lead wire to the common electrode, and avoid problems of heat deformation stress and radiation attenuation.
