    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical drainage channel structure with a small animal intrusion preventive function for preventing a small animal from intruding into an expressway along a vertical drainage channel arranged on a slope of the expressway. SOLUTION: The vertical drainage channel structure is formed by combining an inclined vertical drainage channel 10 formed on the slope 20 between the expressway 21 and a general road 22 existing at a position lower than that of the expressway, and a channel cover 1 placed at the vertical drainage channel 10. A shielding screen 2 rotatable in a longitudinal direction of the vertical drainage channel 10 and downward only is hung from a rear face of the channel cover 1. The shielding screen 2 comprises a rotary shaft 3 and a plurality of plate members 4 arranged at equal intervals like a bamboo blind.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow fall and icicle prevention device capable of accurately preventing snow fall from occurring at the edge of eaves by naturally and efficiently dissolving the lump of ice and snow fallen on a roof, a tunnel mouth, a culvert, or the like, and of preventing icicle, leakage of melted snow, entrainment of snow, or the like from occurring.
      SOLUTION: This snow fall and icicle prevention device includes: a frame body 1 in which a vertical front wall frame 4a is vertically installed at the front end of a square base frame 3, arcuate frames 5 with the arcuate surfaces thereof facing upward are provided to the inside of the front wall frame 4a, and the crests of the arcuate frames 5 are connected to the rear end of the base frame 3 through beam frames 6; and a mesh-like body 2 disposed along the frame body 1. The front end of the base frame 3 is installed on the eaves edge side to form a cylindrical air layer part 20 extending from the front end of the base frame 3 to the rear end thereof on the lower surface of the mesh-like body 2.
