    • A fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine having the normal crankshaft and plurality of cylinders each with an intake passage and an exhaust passage. An intake stroke detector is provided for detecting if a particular cylinder of the engine is experiencing an intake stroke. Responsive to an intake stroke being detected, a fuel injector is actuated to inject fuel into the intake passage of the particular cylinder during its intake stroke. The engine is equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation system for recirculating a part of exhaust gases from the exhaust passage to the intake passage of each cylinder. A fuel injection timing control mechanism is provided for advancing the fuel injection timing responsive to operation of the exhaust gas recirculation system to control the fuel injection period relative to the intake stroke.

    • An input device for zooming and shutter releasing includes a shutter release button; a pressing protrusion; a tact switch located on a substrate and configured to be pressed when the shutter release button is pressed downward; a rotary member rotatably supported at the periphery of the shutter release button; a magnet configured to be rotated in association with rotation of the rotary member, the magnet having a through hole at the center thereof, the pressing protrusion supported to extend through the through hole; and a magnetic sensor located at a position to face the through hole in the height direction and configured to detect a rotational magnetic field that is generated by the magnet because of the rotation of the rotary member, the tact switch and the magnetic sensor arranged side by side on the substrate.

    • In a push switch device, a first latchet tooth is formed to an actuation body composed of an elastomer, a second latchet tooth is formed to a cam follower composed of a synthetic resin material, and the first latchet tooth is meshed with the second latchet tooth by elastically urging the cam follower upward by a second coil spring as well as a first coil spring having a spring load smaller than that of the second coil spring is interposed between the actuation body and the cam follower. Then, the first latchet tooth is engaged with the second latchet tooth at an unstable position by regulating the rotation of the cam follower by the guide portion.
