    • A rotary actuator has a cylinder and a motor shaft as well as end caps which define a working area. A number of ribs extend from the inside wall surface of the cylinder and an equal number of vanes extend from the outside shell surface of the motor shaft. The ribs and vanes divide the working area into working chambers which are alternately supplied with hydraulic medium. Seals are disposed in grooves in the ribs and the vanes, which seals are braced between the inside wall surface of the cylinder or the outside shell surface of the motor shaft and the respective groove base, so that the seals hydraulically separate the working chambers from one another. The outside shell surface of the motor shaft and the inside wall surface of the cylinder are designed with recesses, so that the prestress on the seals is neutralized in at least one installation position of the motor shaft. The rotary actuator can be used in a stabilizer bar of a motor vehicle suspension system. The recesses make assembly of the actuator conducive to a method of mass production.

    • A rotary actuator for a divided stabilizer on a vehicle axle is taught. The rotary actuator has a cylinder, the ends of which are closed to form a working space. Ribs run axially on the inside diameter of the cylinder. In addition, vanes from a motor shaft have the same axial extension within the cylinder as the ribs of the cylinder. The vanes of the motor shaft and the ribs of the cylinder divide the working space into individual work chambers. The rotary actuator can also have a first and a second hydraulic connection for two separate work chambers, with an additional hydraulic connection system between at least pairs of work chambers. The orientation of the connected work chambers is such that the work chambers corresponding to the first hydraulic connection alternate with those which are connected to the second hydraulic connection. A first cap can be provided to close the end of the working chamber, and this cap can be fixed in place on the rotary actuator by means of a deformation connection to the cylinder.

    • A parking lock for a vehicle having an electrical drive train including an electric machine with a rotor, a stator having a plurality of stator windings, and power electronics for controlling the electric machine, and a transmission prevents the vehicle from rolling away inadvertently. The parking lock has a mechanical component which is mechanically operatively connected to the rotor when the parking lock is operated to stop rotation of this rotor. The mechanical component has a ratchet wheel and a toothed catch. Furthermore, the parking lock has an electrical component designed such that it produces a short-circuit in the stator windings, at least temporarily, when it is intended to operate the parking lock. When the parking lock is operated, the electrical component is thus activated in a specific time interval before operation of the mechanical component. The short-circuit in the stator windings produces a severe braking torque, which brakes the rotor. The time interval between activation of the electrical component and the activation of the mechanical component allows the rotor to be braked before the mechanical component is activated. In this way, the high torque peaks which occur when the rotor is being stopped are reduced by the electrical component, so that a mechanical component of relatively small size may be used.
