    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared power supply switch capable of automatically controlling power supply to electrical equipment at a remote place, by detecting infrared from a human body and of attaining more proper power supply control suiting to the electrical equipment, according to the will or the demand of a user.
      SOLUTION: This switch consists of a host machine 1b, which is connected between the electric equipment functioning with commercial power supply and the commercial power supply and controls the power supply to the electrical equipment, and a slave machine 1a which transmits a control signal, by at least near infrared to the host machine and controls power supply by the host machine. The slave machine 1a comprises input switches 8a, 8b for outputting the control signals for forcedly switching at least the power supply state and the power non-supply state machine by the host machine 1b. The host machine 1b or the slave machine 1a comprises a human body detector 5, which detects the infrared from the human body H and switches the host machine 1b to the power supply state.
