    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body tilting device for a rolling stock more largely tilting a vehicle body during the passing of a curved track, and increasing passing speed at the curved track.
      SOLUTION: In a vehicle body tilting device for the rolling stock, a pendulum mechanism 4 is provided between a pendulum beam 3 under a vehicle body 2 and a truck 5. The vehicle body 2 is supported on the truck 5 to rock in a lateral direction, and the vehicle body 2 is placed on the pendulum beam 3 through right and left air springs 11. The vehicle body tilting device for the rolling stock is provided with an air spring driving devices 24, 25 for expanding and contracting the air springs 11, air spring height level device 26, 27 measuring heights of the air springs 11, and air spring height control devices 21 to 23 controlling the heights of the air springs 11 through the air spring driving devices 24, 25.
