    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compensation rope slip-off prevention device of an elevator capable of obtaining a smooth movement of a compensation rope.

When the compensation ropes 6 swing for any reason and move to the position 7 in such a state that the compensation ropes 6 are entangled with each other, the respective compensation ropes 6 are separated by the plurality of projection parts 18a and the compensation ropes are prevented from being taken up by the pulley 7 in such a state that the compensation ropes 6 detour to the back of the other compensation ropes 6.
