    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance and high reliability even when treating water having high dissolved oxygen concentration and water containing large amount of solid suspended matter and to provide its manufacturing method.
      SOLUTION: A hard Cr plated membrane 8 is formed on sliding faces or fitting faces of a rotary shaft 3 constituting the pump, a sleeve 10 attached to a shaft sealing part of the shaft, and a plurality of impellers 4 attached to the shaft to form a flow passage, and resin or oxide is impregnated in the membrane. A WC-NiCr thermal spraying membrane or a Cr3C2-NiCr thermal spraying membrane may be formed instead of the hard Cr plated membrane 8 for covering. Furthermore, it is more effective when a Ni plated membrane or Ni alloy membrane covers a lower layer of the hard Cr plated membrane 8 or the WC-NiCr thermal spraying membrane or the Cr3C2-NiCr thermal spraying membrane. SiO2 or CrO2 can be used instead of resin.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a bearing capable of stably bonding a back metal to a resin sliding member, and causing no separation in operation, and to provide the bearing.
      SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing the bearing wherein the resin sliding member 5 is bonded to a sliding side-surface of the back metal 2 of a journal bearing 1, a metallic filter 4 having a matted outer peripheral surface is mounted at an inner peripheral side of the back metal 2 through a wax material 3, and a uniform pressurizing device 11 positioned on an inner periphery of a high-frequency heating coil 9 and capable of pressing the same with uniform distribution in the circumferential direction, is mounted at an inner peripheral side of the metallic filter 4. The method comprises a first bonding process for pressing and bonding the metallic filter 4 to the back metal 2 by the uniform pressurizing device 11 while heating the same by the high-frequency heating coil 9 in a state of rotating the whole, and a second bonding process for placing the resin sliding member 5 at the inner peripheral side of the metallic filter 4 after the temperature up, pressing the resin sliding member 5 by the uniform pressurizing device 11 for melting the resin sliding member 5 on the inner peripheral surface of the metallic filter 4, and impregnating a porous part of the metallic filter 4 wit the resin sliding member 5.

Thus by attaining external diametrally contracting the outer casing 1 and suppressing vibration of the inner casing, reducing a cost and noise reducing structure can be attained.

CONSTITUTION:A holder 2 with a thrust bearing 3 enclosed therein is put into a housing 1. In the case of reducing a back face gap, oil is put into an oil chamber 4 adjacent to the 'in' side of the thrust bearing 3, and the oil is let out from an 'out' side oil chamber 5. Then the holder 2 moves onto the oil chamber 5 side, and a rotor part moves onto the coupling side through the thrust bearing 3 and a striker 8 to reduce the back face gap. The gap is enlarged by performing the filling and letting-out of oil reversely. The formation of hydraulic pressure difference between the oil chambers 4, 5 is performed by an electromagnetic proportional control valve 6.
