    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car that makes an in-elevator-car environment excellent by reducing noises in the elevator car while securing natural ventilation in the elevator car.SOLUTION: The elevator car includes: a car floor 9 of the elevator car; a floor frame 10 that is disposed at the edge of the car floor 9; a baseboard 11 that is fixed to the floor frame 10; a side board 12 of the elevator car; a side board back panel 18 that is disposed on the backside of the side board 12; a ceiling board 13 that covers an upper part of the side board 12; a ventilation gap 15 that communicates into the elevator car between the floor frame 10 and a lower part of the side board 12; a ventilation passage 23 that is vertically formed between the ventilation gap 15 and the outside of the elevator car; and noise absorbing materials 17-19 that are stuck in the ventilation passage 23. Thus, the elevator car reduces the noises transmitted into the elevator car from the outside, while maintaining the ventilation in the elevator car.

Lengths of the simple rods 30L, 30R are constituted previously with different dimensions, not to bring the respective rope sockets 20L, 20R attached to the plurality of suspension wire ropes 10L, 10R into an interference state, and a tail cord swinging preventive mechanism 130 is provided in a lower side of a drawing-out point 10a of the suspension wire ropes, to restrain a bending stress applied to the simple rods due to rolling of the tail cord.
