    • PURPOSE:To grind the work in uniformed depth and in precision by enabling to change arbitrarily the pressed amount of belt for grinding on the work in the titled apparatus to grind partially such a surface of work having a desired curved surface as a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Grinding head 8, each feed gear and measuring sensor 11 are connected with a micro computer. At the time of grinding when grinding position and grinding amount are instructed, the grinding head 8 moves its head to the grinding position of the work through cash feed gear. Further, the area to be eliminated and the depth of elimination are calculated out from the instructed eliminating amount, and the head 8 repeats swinging axially to left and right, the work does swinging synchronously with the left and right motion through holder 4. The sensor 11 is arranged at two points or more in accordance with the work's charactteristics among the measuring points (a)-(g), and the depth of elimination is calculated out from the balance of distance from the sensors for the eliminated partIand the uneliminated part II to the surface of work.

    • PURPOSE:To upgrade the endurability and strength of laminated belt by using a specific material proper to the belt, while performing endless rolling under a strict and specific circumferential length control on each single belt to be laminated and eliminating the clearance between each single belt. CONSTITUTION:A thin wall seamless steel pipe made of maraging steel is cut transversely by a specified width and a base belt which constitutes the innermost periphery of laminated belts. Then, the base belt is led around a roll A and a roll B and is rolled by a roll C from outside under the state where a definite tension is applied between the rolls A and B. To produce the difference of circumferential length so as to laminate an n-th belt, the amount of movement between the rolls A and B, H is controlled so as to satisfy DELTAH=piT(n-1) while, the above tension is maintained regardless of the rolling process when the formula 2pit(n-1) is satisfied (t stands for the thickness of a single belt.). An n number of single belts thus manufactured are laminated.
