    • PURPOSE:To set the internal periphery of a spiral cooling fin made of a metal on the outer wall of a positive electrode by closely rolling it, through process of molding a spiral fin from a band plate simultaneously with rolling it onto the positive electrode cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A spiral cooling fin 5 made of a metal which is rolled and bent to be an arc having an L shaped cross section, whose thickness is arranged to decrease from the internal periphery to the outer one, is wound around and fixed on the outer periphery of a positive electrode cylinder 2. At least both ends of the spiral cooling fin 5 are fixeed with rivets, screws or the like so that the cooling metal fin 5 may closely touch the positive electrode cylinder 2 and maintain the fastening force.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the flattening at the bend portion of the pipe when the meandering pipe is formed, and also, to facilitate the removal of the product after the bending work is finished, by supplying the bender consisting of the top portion whose circumferential surface is provided with a shallow groove, and of the flat portion connected to this top portion and provided with width twice of the internal bending radius of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A shallow groove 7 with depth (c) is formed in the circumferential surface of the top porton 5 of the bender 1 taking the internal bending radius of the pipe 3 as (r). Besides, both side planes of the flat portion 6 are made parallel and flat, and their width is taken as 2r; hereupon, the bottom of the groove 7 is smoothly connected to the flat portion 6. Next, the pipe benders, consisting of this bender 1 and two rolls 2, are successively reversely located on a straight line; the pipe 3 is set between the benders 1, 1'... and rolls 2, 2'..., and a pipe 3 meandering at 180 deg. as illustrated on the picture is formed. Next, rolls 2, 2'... are moved backward, and the benders 1, 1'... are moved backward as far as the pipe 3 slips out of the groove 7; hereby, the product 3 can be easily removed in the direction perpendicular to the paper plane.
