    • PURPOSE:To cope flexibly with a fault of a network or its spread without using a master transmission controller by connecting a transmission controller at least to three transmission lines and also providing a means detecting a fault of each transmission line and switching a tranmission line. CONSTITUTION:The transmission controller 11 is connected to a loop 1 and a transmission line 100 for detour, and the transmission/reception is performed by using the loop 1 normally. Even when the transmission data is transmitted for a prescribed number of times and the data is not returned after being circulated in the loop, it is discriminated as a loop fault. At fault, ''1'' is set to a register 93, a transmission propriety check command is transmitted to a small loop comprising loops 1, 2 and a detour is transmitted, and when the check is finished, ''1'' is set to a register 94, and when no fault exists, ''O'' is set to a register 95 and when a fault exists, ''1'' is set to the register 95. Then each transmission controller performs the same operation. Each transmission controller checks the content of the own register 95 and transmits a data to a detour transmission line when the content is logical 1.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the repetition of constitution and removal of an alternative path, by making each transmission control device know addresses of its own device and a paired transmission control device so that an intermittent transmission error can be detected. CONSTITUTION:A transmission control device which detects abnormality of a transmission line and its paired transmission control device which is requested to make small loop check, transmit small loop check data to which their addresses are respectively added to a loop circuit together with received data SA and SAO. When they receive small loop check data from a loop ring circuit, the devices decide the received data SA and, when the data have their own addresses, update a one round data number counting counter 86. When they receive data from the loop circuit, they discriminate the received data SAO and, when the data SAO do not have their own addresses, lecide the data SA. When the data SA have the address of the paired transmission control device, the devices transmit the data to the loop ring circuit. When the data SA do not have the address of the paired transmission control device, they send the data to the loop ring circuit and, furthermore, they generate small loop check data by checking the content of a counter 85 and send the generated data to the loop circuit.

    • PURPOSE:To search the shortest route of a large-scale network and also to obtain the minimum cost flow at a high speed and parallel processing in a computer simulation which simulates a network falling motion for a primary/dual method of network. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a central processor 1 which controls the overall working, an array 2 which performs parallel operations, a shift memory 3 which supplies or receives data to and from the array 2 simultaneously, and a memory 4 which supplies simultaneously the constant data to the array 2. The array 2 has a structure where basic operators called cells are connected one- dimensionally to each other. Here cells A and B are available. Then a capable flow rate is supplied to each arc Xi and node Ni to obtain a minimum cost flow flowing through the shortest route as soon as a simulation is through. At the same time, the position of each node Ni and the capable flow rate flowing these nodes are obtained by a simple calculation in a full process from start and stop time points of simulation. Based on these factors, the final state, i.e., the shortest route and a minimum cost flow are obtained by a pipeline arithmetic. In such a way, both the shotest route and a minimum cost flow can be obtained for a large-scale network.

    • PURPOSE:To cope optionally with the request of change of relay registration at each subsystem on a transmission line by providing a content code registrating table storage memory as to all terminal devices at two transmission lines each and revising the contents of the memory in response to the request from each terminal device. CONSTITUTION:When a command for registering a relay content code FC is received, a processing operating device 43 reads a transmitted address SA in the data, a change start FC and a changed FC number and selects the arrangement of an area corresponding in an FC table 480 by host. Then, the data requiring or not requiring registration in the received data is converted into a registration format of the FC table. This converted data is compared with the registered data of the area in the FC table obtained before, and after the presence of change is confirmed, then the FC registration data of the area is rewritten. If there exists no change, the processing is finished. Further, when a change is produced, the registered data of the corresponding area sequentially to the range of the corresponding FC and to all the SA other than the SA of the received data is extracted and whether the change of the total DC table 481 is required or not is checked.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a transmission function at the time of multiple faults by sending a message received by a pair of transmission controlling devices constituting a bypass each other to the bypass and a transmission line. CONSTITUTION:When faults A, B are generated in a bypass and loop transmission lines respectively, a transmission controlling device (NCP) 24 sets up function codes respectively and sends the codes to the loop transmission line 2. The message from the NCP24 is sent to an NCP25 through the transmission line 2, transferred to a loop transmission line 1 through a bypass 45, sent to an NCP16 through NCPs 15-11, 18, 17, transferred to the transmission line 2 through a bypass 56, and then sent to an NCP21 through NCPs 26-28 to erase the message at the NCP21. During the transmission, the message is transmitted to at least one of a pair of NCPs in all the NCPs. Consequently, the message can be transmitted to a part which may be disconnected in an ordinary method at the generation of multiple faults such as the faults A, B, so that the transmission function can be improved.
