    • PURPOSE:To stabilize activity concentration in reactor water by a method wherein the Cr content in a corrosion product sticking on the surface of a fuel clad tube of a boiling water nuclear power generating apparatus is controlled to be a specified percent or below. CONSTITUTION:By maintaining the Cr content in a sticking substance on the surface of fuel at 3% or below, the speed of elution of the sticking substance into reactor water can be decreased. As the result, the amount of radioactive nuclide dissolved in the reactor water can be reduced and activity concentration can be stabilized. The Cr concentration is maintained at 3% or below easily by a method wherein the concentration of an oxidizing agent in reactor feed water is maintained at 10 to 30ppb. The concentration of dissolved oxygen can be regulated by controlling the amount of oxygen injected from oxygen injecting equipment. It is desirable that the concentration of the oxidizing agent is made to approach 10ppb while Fe concentration is monitored by sampling from a amount of elution of Cr is lessened by using a material of the CR content 14.5% or below for a heat exchanger tube of a feed water heater 13. For this purpose, Mo steel not containing Cr is optimum.

    • PURPOSE: To enable effective regeneration by a small amount of a regenerating agent, by attaining to optimize the concn. of the regenerating agent in consideration of the reactive characteristics and ion exchange selectivity of a desalting capacity reduced ion exchange substance and the regenerating agent.
