摘要： A drive unit for vehicles prevents the rise of temperature of a high-pressure battery or condenser and assists the vehicle engine using a motor activated by an electric current supplied from the battery. The drive unit includes a battery temperature sensor and battery ammeter sensor, and defines the permissible current value of input-and-output current, which is limit of a current value to be inputted-and-outputted with respect to the battery, based on the difference between the battery temperature and the upper limit. When the battery temperature exceeds the threshold temperature, the permissible current value is set. Moreover, when the exchanged current value of the output-and-input current exceeds the permissible current value, the motor gradually decreases the output command value.

摘要： The apparatus for detecting remaining charge of a battery, according to the present invention, comprises: current detector for detecting output electric current from and regenerative electric current to the battery; voltage detector for detecting a voltage output from the battery; low-pass filter for filtering the results of detection by the current detector and the voltage detector; time constant changer for changing the time constant of the low-pass filter; integrator for calculating the remaining charge in the battery by integrating the result of detection by the current detector; threshold voltage calculator for calculating a threshold voltage value corresponding to a specified value of the remaining charge, based on the electric current value filtered by the filter; comparator for comparing the threshold voltage value, calculated by the threshold voltage calculator, with the voltage value filtered by the filter; and resetter for resetting the remaining charge to the specified value when the filtered voltage value exceeds the threshold voltage value.

摘要： In an ECU, a coolant fan performs cooling operation such that a control DUTY value is limited by a control DUTY value according to tolerable noise level of the cooling fan based on a vehicle speed in a case in which the temperature in the high-voltage battery is lower than a predetermined limitation for highest temperature. In a case in which the temperature in the high-voltage battery is higher than the predetermined limitation for highest temperature, the cooling fan performs the cooling operation by using an energy storage device cooling operation requirement value and an IPU cooling operation requirement value such that performance in the high-voltage battery is not affected. By doing this, a temperature controlling apparatus for batteries in which it is possible to cool the battery and solve temperature difference among a plurality of batteries can be provided.

The valve-opening operation of the main valve is controlled by adjusting the pressure in a pilot chamber with the pilot valve. A valve block and a solenoid block are connected together into one unit and inserted into a casing before being secured with a nut. At this time, an actuating rod of the solenoid block is engaged with a pilot valve member retained by a pilot spring and a fail-safe spring in a cylindrical portion of a pilot body of the valve block.
