    • A torque fluctuation absorbing apparatus provided between a crankshaft of an engine and a driven-side input shaft includes a flywheel coupled to the crankshaft and a damper assembly disposed in a torque transmission path between the flywheel and the driven-side input shaft. The damper assembly includes a pair of drive plates, a driven plate and a spring damper. A torque limiter is disposed in a torque transmission path between the flywheel and the damper assembly. The torque limiter includes a pair of linings which generates relative rotational slip between the flywheel and the damper assembly when a torque larger than a predetermined amount is transmitted and are adapted to slip when receiving at least a predetermined amount of torque. The linings of the torque limiter are fixed to one of the drive plates and are interposed between a flywheel main body and a damper cover that forms a part of the torque limiter. The drive plates, the linings and the damper cover are centered with respect to the flywheel main body, and are assembled together to provide an assembly of the flywheel main body, the damper assembly and the torque limiter. After the engine is assembled with the driven-side input shaft, the assembly of the flywheel main body, the damper assembly and the torque limiter is fastened to the flywheel plate that is fixed to the crankshaft.

    • The torque fluctuation absorber includes a flywheel fixed on a first rotating shaft by a fixation member, a damper unit connected with a second rotating shaft and absorbs fluctuation of torque occurred between the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft by elastic force, and a limiter unit provided on a power transmission path between the flywheel and the damper unit and inducing a slide when the fluctuation of the torque exceeded a predetermined value. A predetermined member rotates with the first rotating shaft on a power transmission path between the first rotating shaft and the limiter unit. The predetermined member has a side plate at the damper unit and a guide portion that prevents movement radially of a hub member, and the guide portion is provided at radially internal side of the fixation member.

    • A torque fluctuation absorber includes a disc fixed to a flywheel, a hub fixed to a transmission, first and second side plates fixed to the disc, a damper member, first and second control plates provided at axial both sides of the hub, the first and second control plates being riveted by a stopper pin, a first hysteresis mechanism including first and second low friction members and generating a small hysteresis, and a second hysteresis mechanism including first and second high friction members and generating a large hysteresis. The hub includes a flange portion having a through-hole into which the stopper pin is inserted. A relative rotational angle between the control plates and the hub is defined by a clearance formed between the through-hole and the hub. The first hysteresis mechanism is activated when the relative rotational angle is defined within the clearance.
