    • PURPOSE:To make straightness of both members accurately coincide with each other at a time point of hanging work by fitting four L-shape positioning plates to upper edge corner angle parts of an existing hollow steel frame column having a rectangular cross section, and arranging rotatable guide rollers on upper surfaces of the plates. CONSTITUTION:Positioning jigs 2 are in advance arranged on an upper edge of an existing steel frame column 1. A hung steel frame column 1 is guided for approximate positioning and is hung down at a time point when a bottom corner angle part thereof abuts against an inner side than a radius of any of guide rollers 6. Next, while the guide roller 6 is rotated, an outside part of the steel frame column 1 is lowering-guided in the peripheral direction. In a final state, four corner angle parts abut against peripheral stnrfaces of all the guide rollers 6 for positioning and the column 1 is installed on an existing steel frame column 1. Accordingly, workhours from hanging to installation can be remarkably decreased without the use of labor and a mechanical means for position correction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level bracing device capable of exerting a sufficient tremor isolating function by suppressing the change in the load applied to a tremor isolating device irrespective of the direction of the external force applied.
      SOLUTION: The level bracing device 1 is installed between a building 10 and the post 22 of a tower crane 20 used in constructing the building 10 for supporting the tower crane 20 in the horizontal direction, and is equipped with a frame 40 arranged in such a way as surrounding the post 22, a stay 60 to connect the frame 40 with the building 10, and a friction damper 50 interposed between the frame 40 and the post 22. The friction damper 50 connects the post 22 with each corner 40A of the frame 40 having approximately a square shape, wherein the angle θ of the damper sliding direction to one side member of the frame 40 is approximately 45°.
