    • PURPOSE:To normally control the operation at a high accuracy by separately detecting a real air-fuel ratio at every cylinder, and renewing air-fuel compensation data at every cylinder which is stored in compensation memory units at every cylinder based on air-fuel ratio difference among the cylinders. CONSTITUTION:An injector 12 is provided at a throttle chamber 4, and a throttle valve 14 is provided in the vicinity of an exit port of the injector 12. Fuel injection from the injector 12 is controlled by a control circuit 60 based on output signals of a crank angle sensor(not shown), an air flow sensor 24, water temperature sensor 56, an O2 sensor 142 and the like so as to feedback-control a air-fuel ratio. In this case, a real air-fuel ratio is separately detected at every cylinder, and air-fuel ratio difference among the cylinders is detected. An air-fuel ratio compensation data at every cylinder stored in compensation memory units at every cylinder is renewed based on the air-fuel ratio difference. When the air-fuel ratio difference is detected, air-fuel control feedback control is interruptingly controlled.

In such a way, when the data is being outputted to the cache memory 104, the file 106 on the external storage device 105 is not updated, therefore, even if a fault is generated on the central processing unit 101 side on the way thereof, the file 106 can secure the consistency before updating.
